Delicious food. They have re-done the restaurant since we were here last. It’s nice. I had pork ribs, my husband got pork chop, our friends got brisket and grilled cheese with brisket. It was all so good. They had live entertainment. Oh, we got nachos for an appetizer.

They have good burgers and interesting choices for deviled eggs. A little expensive but the quality is worthwhile. We really enjoy their macaroni and cheese with the brisket option. It’s real, homemade macaroni and cheese. Love it!

Haven’t been here in awhile. Last time was better. Took a few minutes to get seated, 5 more minutes we would have left. Waited 10 minutes. Got seated, ordered food. The food came out pretty quick. The advertised burger was small. The biggest problem was the flies, wearing shorts, I was being constantly bit on my legs. Looking under the table, floors dirty. Paid our bill. Looking at place while walking to our car, the fence close to building greasy, heavy overgrown weeds. Overall seems that place is not being managed. I see this as how the “georgia house”restaurant went down. There are several well managed places around. This place needs some guidance, from one of them.

Amazing ribs and ribeye. The garlic kale was best kale I’ve ever had. Always recommend boxcar 40. I’ll keep coming back. Pulled pork nachos are a must have. Brandon was a great server

The bloody mary surprised me with a rib and string bean, the rib was so good my wife ate it to the bone, the string beans are stupid good. They were pickled. I actually got a few extra. We had deviled eggs for an appetizer, also good. My wife got the burger, I thought it was good, she thought it was greasy. The burger had bacon, egg, cheddar cheese, it’s supposed to be greasy. Will go back.

Cozy small-town atmosphere, friendly staff, excellent cocktails (like the smoked Old Fashioned or the spicy Bloody Mary with a rib in it), local craft beers on tap, famous deviled eggs, and great barbecue dishes.
