The older woman that answers the phone is VERY RUDE. She took my daughter’s order and asked for my card number (when they actually charge you card in person when they deliver) the whole time the call was on speaker and and my daughter was sitting next to me. She after she puts the order in and takes my card number she tells my daughter she can’t take the card because she can’t use my card only I can. So I call out and say why I’m right here and she has ordered with my card before. She tells my daughter that “I’m yelling and she doesn’t like that. (Which I wasnt) so I call her back and ask her why she won’t take the card and she says she isn’t arguing with a customer and hangs up in my face. So I call back again and ask her why is she hanging up in my face and wouldn’t answer me and couldn’t answer me when I asked why won’t she take my card when this isn’t the first time we order from there and she hung up in my face again. RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL. get someone better and who knows how to talk to people. Would recommend this place not even for a glass of water.

The pizza is really good taste fantastic, i think it’s the best pizza place in fair haven hands down. I just started ordering last week and made my second order today. I order at night. And the guy that answer the phone seems really nice I seen people complaining about customer service. But I so far have been getting good customer service. Each time that I have ordered from Pizza Plus (Grand Avenue) the food has been delicious and reasonably priced, the staff is friendly and always ready to help, and the food is delivered hot and in a timely manner by courteous delivery people. Yesterday for example, I ordered 4 drinks, but only 2 of them were delivered. I called the restaurant to explain, and they not only had the driver promptly return with the drinks, but to my surprise also included a complimentary bowl of delicious strawberry ice cream as a way to apologize for the inconvenience. Kudos to Pizza Plus for their thoughtfulness and excellent customer service. I highly recommend them.

Call to order a pepperoni calzone and a shrimp pizza and the guy put me on hold twice and at the end told me to go online and order there as will be easier for him and me and hung up the phone on me I callback and did not pick up… just lost a 15 years client with that actitud. Remember this is not the only pizza in New Haven area……..

I went to pizza plus on Grand Ave on 2/27, I was in the mood for pizza. Normally the owner is there and she is polite, but this time there was a Hispanic young man behind the counter. I placed my order and was told they only had 1 slice, he said 15 mins for another pizza to be made, I said I would wait. When I came back to get my order, he handed it to me and he forgot I had not paid for the order yet. When I got to my car I checked the pizza, one slice wasn’t hot and the other was burnt. I went back and said the pizza was burnt, he then proceeded to talk me it wasn’t burnt it was well done. Who orders a well done pizza, the crust had black burnt spots all over it and was so hard, and the bottom was black. He wouldnt fix the problem just gave me my money back, I will never go back to that place. They don’t value their customers. I ended up ordering from the Chinese restaurant right next to them.

This establishment is rude! I called 10 mins prior to closing time to order a milkshake only for pick up. A guy answered the phone without a greeting and said “We’re closed for the night!” I attempted to ask about the real closing time and if it was possible to get the milkshake, he hung up on me. So disappointed order pizza at 6:24 giving them the benefit of doubt because it’s Thursday and it’s busy witch is understandable . My food arrive at 7:45 and told them over the phone I was paying with a card. So I give him my card he swipes it it doesn’t go threw ok so I give him another card the same things happens . So he tells me I have to go online and pay witch is fine so I go to grab my phone to go online and pay for it he tells me I need to call back and walks out with my order and was very rude about the whole situation so I call the pizza place back to tell them about what happened the proceeds to tell me the manager said if my card doesn’t work there’s nothing they can do never apologized or try to resolve the situation. Lost my business guess it’s chinese for the night
