This establishment has been in our area for years but we had not tried it for years. Seems like they had overpriced the value and always crowded. Recently I had some gallbladder pain from greasy food and was looking for healthier options, more vegetables and baked chicken. We loved the vegetables, salad, and variety Golden Corral offers. We have been back three times in 7 days, even getting plates to go. They weigh your trays and we spent about fifteen dollars for enough for the two of us. We found that if you go between 11:00 a.m. and 4:00 you can get the early bird special senior discount at $8.99 a plate which includes your tea. Hell of a deal. I think the regular price is much higher but you still see buffets around anymore. We will probably continue to eat there because it is close and we know what it offers now. See you there.

Over the years the quality of customer service has go r down. There are so many waiters that are unconcern and rude . They need to hire a diverse group of staff. Several workers are unprofessional and when they have an altercation with a customer they gang up and speak in Spanish. They were just talking in English. That is so rude!!!!!!

First time New in area looked so clean from outside.but,oh my we walk in and we get to a back table hardly and food looks dry old it’s Like early very few people .chicken use to b so good no flavor had a taste fish fried no taste at all had to add lemon to have taste then by our table a cockroach walkin up the wall..that was the end. Mgr right up 2 tables eating I said well if they don’t see it…we got sick from our stomach what ever we ate was bad…city codes needs to go in this place

I feel that I had a great experience. The service and hospitality was a good quality. I also feel that some of the food could have used a little bit more seasoning or been cooked a little more, but overall I enjoyed to eat session. You can tell that because I had three plates.

I’m a real Golden Coral fan and have been going there ever since my nephew was 6 and he’s 22. I would take him and his 2 sisters there every Saturday for breakfast or lunch. I recently started going to this location when I moved back to Mesquite and it’s extremely close to the house. The staff from the register to the floor is very nice and helpful. The place is clean and I’ve never been in there and seen anything on the buffet empty. Now the only reason I gave it 4 stars is because the steaks are kinda tough for me to eat but the flavor is always on point. I’m not fond of the flavor of the ribs and neither was my sister and brother in law but they weren’t tough. My sister and myself both agree that they need to bring back the different types of shrimp like they used to have especially the coconut shrimp and my brother in law wants the different types of wings back as well. We haven’t hit the breakfast yet but that’s going to be next. The catfish was great too and I’m not a catfish fan but here they don’t have a real nasty fishy flavor. Will definitely be back.

This Golden Corral has the worst management EVER!! One of the people in our party did not have a chance to eat (hardly no food on the buffet anyway). So we kindly asked for a refund for that ONE PERSON…and was denied. Maria the manager was rude and blew off our request. Refused to acknowledge us at all. Basically stated that we were lying even after our kind waiters Rigo and Connie tried to defend the fact that this person had not eaten.

Maybe I came at the wrong time but it wasn’t clean and the flies were everywhere. I don’t think we’ll revisit this place maybe there’s a cleaner location. The food was ok as far as taste but a lot of food was picked over and just looked very nasty. Hopefully they clean it up and stop people from picking all over the food maybe it will be a better restaurant.

Then food choices havent changed in years, nothing new has been added so it was a let down. But the service at the table was worse, walked in sat down at the cleanest table I could find, that still hadn’t been wipped down, I saw 2 wait staff and they were showing pictures on their phones to people at 2 different tables, in had to take my water glass and my dads glass up to the front myself for a refill friday during the lunch hour. Sad to say but the service here sucked, the food has gone down hill as well as the care of the facility, for anybody reading my review in suggest a different place to eat at. The manager at Mesquite TX Golden Corral should be ashamed, if I was health and safety in would have stopped all the service for a full cleanup.

We have been eating here every other Saturday for 2 years. As of late, this place has hit the bottom and started to dig a hole to go even lower. The last 4 times we have been the food was cold and looked like it had been there for a while. Saturday, I asked the manager if they had fresh chicken in the back since what they had out looked like leftovers from the day before. I was told I’d check, and that was the last I saw of her till just before we were leaving. We are not going back they can have their cold food. Maybe when they lose enough business, they’ll change out their people .

Honestly it was the fly in the water container for me. It was dead just floating around in there so when she poured our refill lil buddy made it in our cup how sweet.
