I don’t even remember the last time or place that we’ve experienced such great service, truly… they even brought a tray of hot towels to the table for our hands when we sat down. And live instrumental music. We sat at the sushi bar and asked what something was because it was so pretty and had a lot of time put into it & it ended up being one of ours lol (Kentucky Hills I think it was called.) Was surprised at the portions/size of the shrimp and lobster chunks. And the salmon truffle was awesome. There are regular sushi places, then there are the nicer places to go for sushi… well this is whatever that special next level is & they deserve all of the great reviews!

Love this place and can’t wait to return during my next visit to Lexington. If you like sushi, you must try this place. Super fresh, delicious! I had the seared tuna and avocado salad for lunch and my daughter had the shrimp tempura roll, miso soup, and edamame. Please go here and support this small business!

Had a lovely time sitting with the Chef at the sushi bar and enjoying my first experience of an omakase. While the 12 piece spread was quite expensive for me, I do not regret it at all. I left the restaurant feeling euphoric and satisfied. It was a perfect amount of food. I will see the friends at Omakase again soon I hope.

Disappointing first experience. We had a reservation and sat at the sushi bar. We were ignored for 15 minutes, then told there was confusion about who would wait on us. No greetings from the sushi chefs. We both ordered the Omakase Set ($89 each). We were seated at 6 pm and finally got our sushi at 7:25. The sushi was very good, but having to wait almost 1.5 hours definitely dulled the experience. A warning about wait time when we ordered would have been appreciated, or an offer of a complimentary drink or dessert due to the delay. The various salts served with the sushi seemed like an odd gimmick. Isn’t that what soy sauce is for? Cocktails were excellent.

The Omakase set is unbelievable experience. The drinks and sake were great too. Obviously it’s expensive, but you’re getting amazing quality sushi. That atmosphere looks and feels amazing, so cozy.

Wonderful dining experience: from our friendly, funny waitress, Yoni, to the beautiful decor, to the gorgeous scent in the bathroom (I know… random but it was truly delightful), to the sumptuous raw fish— everything was perfection. They recommend reservations and I agree, especially during peak dining times. The bar menu was extensive. (The owner himself made my drink! He was so sweet and lively!) The dining menu was paired down, but we kept looking around to check out what everyone else was eating because it ALL looked amazing. If you’re in the area and like sushi at all, you MUST eat here!
