New owner is doing a great job. Two friends and I went late on a Saturday afternoon. Place was busy. My friends ordered pulled pork sandwiches with pepper jack cheese and both said it was the best they ever had. They were going back for the smoked chicken wings. I had a full slab of ribs that tasted like they just came from the smoker. Delicious. And it was fast. I’ll be back!

Menu is amazing. Where else in this area can you get a pork sandwich with smoked provolone and broccoli rabe. But the food itself is just OK. All their pulled pork is stewed pork, or at least it tastes like it was done or kept in a crock pot. Smoked wings are delish, but scrawny and overcooked. Sauces are amazing. So you see what I’m saying…it’s like it’s perfect in one area but mediocre in another. The net result is a very good average. I sincerely hope they step up the freshness and substance a bit, because the Pottstown area is dying for something other than the usual pizza/sandwich joint, and this place has the potential. They just don’t get it perfect.

Absolutely the best chicken wings and chicken tenders around town. We usually get the honey barbecue and Cajun wings. Specialty sandwiches are HUGE stacked with layers of meat. Our favorite take-out by far.

We were tired of ordering the same old stuff for lunch at work every day, so we tried Boneyard Joe’s and were extremely satisfied. Everything that we ordered was awesome, especially the corn fritters.Everyone was nice and the environment was clean. We will definitely be ordering from here again.

I’ve tried a few different items on the menu and have to say it’s the best place for a pulled chicken/pork sandwich or a turkey sandwich with chipotle mayonnaise. Also, tasty baked beans and chili. Fair priced and highly recommended!!
