The food especially the Catfish, Peach Cobbler was delicious. Turkey Leg and sides were also very good. Every big momma is different so don’t expect to taste your big mommas cooking. You’re tasting his cooking, and it is excellent. Let’s support this black owned and operated business. Ray keep up the hard work as you try to scale this thing up. Demand and lines are good things. Shortened hours, limited quantities, and the “you better get here early” is how you maintain that demand.

We waited about 2 hours for our food. Some sides were out and they replaced them with other items. The young lady tried her best to makeup for it and was very nice. I will give them grace because I know they had a system malfunction and did the best they could. Was everything perfect absolutely not! But the attitudes of the staff that I spoke to was great! This was the first day at the new location it was not perfect but I still will support this business! I know they will work to get it right!

My wife and I decided to eat here for our anniversary lunch! We walked in, were greeted, and seated right away. Our server Essence was very friendly, attentive, and accommodating. The kiddos enjoyed wings, Mac N Cheese, the wife enjoyed her catfish, yams, greens, and Mac n cheese, and I enjoyed my wings and fries! Food was good and fresh! Food came out after about 15 minutes or so even with a lunch crowd there. Great experience, worth the drive from STL, most definitely will return!

I’m outdone; I decided to try this new spot. Every plate online photo has 2 pieces of catfish, so why did my plate only come with one piece? I should have checked my order before leaving; I would have requested a refund. Do better folks.

Food was PHENOMENAL! My kids are picky eaters, but when we got home with our Rays carry out order they gobbled it all down. The wait was long, but to be expected during opening week. The girl who took our order was the sweetest. The fried food held up great for the 10 minute trip home, and everything was still super hot and chicken crispy. Going back today!
