This McAlister’s has changed dramatically for the better! Years ago I had a horrible experience and vowed never to return. About 6 months ago I decided to try it again. I could not believe how wonderful it was and decided it was a fluke. I came back again and again and it was not a fluke at all. The food was good and consistently presented. The service was all smiles. The restaurant was clean and friendly. I just could not believe it. I spoke to the GM and told her my story. I thanked her and her staff for turning this location around and making it the neighborhood deli it was intended to be. I am grateful to the GM and her whole team for working so hard and consistent. They are a well oiled machine.

Amazing place! Most of all, their service is spectacular. Britney Young, one of the workers there, is the most efficient and kindest person on their staff. You don’t see many people that kind and willing to help like her! Great place, and definitely recommend her employers taking note of what an amazing worker they have on their hands.

A friend recommended this restaurant to my hubby. We decided to try it while we were out Christmas shopping as we like baked potatoes and wanted to try something new. He ordered the angus potato I went with the Chicken chipotle(cajun?) bacon (something like that) without the onions. Fist it didn’t take long for our order to be ready which was good as we were hungry. I was honestly surprised as the potato was huge. It had chicken, bacon, cheese.. I added sour cream. It was soo good. My hubby was happy with his too. We ended up ordering a brownie too before leaving…. which was soo good. Everyone was nice and very respectful and the restraint was clean. I would definitely recommend to friends/family. I added a pic of my potato so you can see it’s as good or better than it looks.

Excellent dishes, served quickly with a smile and asking you if you need anything more. Always a delight when we go out to eat. I love their Orange Cranberry Club sandwich, right amount of meat with cheese with the orange cranberry preserve and tomato & lettuce with the bread toasted to perfection. Also I love their Spud Max, which is a large potato covered with ham, turkey, cheese, bacon, green onions and black olives with butter and sour cream. Their pick 2 option goes for $8.50 and the portions are large enough to take leftovers home or feel very stuffed. Add a sweet tea with a shot of peach topped off with a Chocolate Chip cookie and you will have the best combination of a feast.

Tipped at the register and received poor service afterward. They forgot three things in my order so I walked to the register to remind them. They said they world bring them out, but forgot. I had to go to the counter three times for my order. I got the club and the lettuce was old. I went for the muffLetta, but they no longer make it. Two lunches $50. I won’t go back. Hardly any customers. Just a matter of time for them I think.
