Stopped here for a quick bite on our way from Seattle to Portland. A small unassuming booth inside a food court. Food is pretty good for the price they charge. We ordered 2 plates– one with chana masala and one with a chicken curry. Both came with rice and a small salad. The chana was very good. The chicken was ok. The food was made pretty quickly. And the lady was nice to give a free dessert to my child.

At first, people are going to shy away from the location. But real locals always know that these type of places are the best. You have commuters coming home from a long day at work and they want a quality meal. This place delivers and some. Excellent service. A busy counter with guests on a steady stream and one taste of the food and you know why. Even if it’s just a take home as you pass by, make it a destination and you’ll add it to your rotation.

This was some of the most delicious food I had in Tacoma. The sauces were so thick and yummy made without a bunch of fillers. My friends got a Tikki Masala and a Vindaloo they were such all such different dishes, you can tell they put care into creating the individual bases. I am a person that eats saracha on everything and I got a level 3 Rohan Josh. If I ordered here again I would get a 4 or 5, 3 was pretty mild to me. But even with the dish being slightly less spicy than I would have wanted in a perfect world it was still a 10/10 for flavor.

We are first-time customers, just passing through to Seattle. The chicken tikka masala was fabulous—the chicken fresh and the sauce flavorful. We appreciated the garlic naan on the house, a delicious surprise and kind gesture. I’d come back in a heartbeat. Great food.

Amazing, authentic, fresh food. I smelled it as soon as I entered the building and sought it out. I was not disappointed. This was the best curry I have ever had. There was a bit of a line, I understand why. This place is so friendly, homey, fresh, and delicious. I am absolutely making a point to come back on as regularly as I can. I got the chicken coconut curry, was not disappointed!

It has been a minute since we have eaten or posted about this place, but there is no reason. The issue is that I get caught in a specific food cycle. For better or for worst. This place has amazing Indian food. Full stop. You won’t find it better in Tacoma. It is in the most unusual of places at the train station. And it’s worth the visit. I recommend this place often and would suggest anyone come to check it out.

Great quick and well priced Indian food in a cafeteria setting. Their spice levels are pretty mild and they have plenty of vegetarian options. Mostly curries, but I’ve tried almost all of them and they’re all delicious. I love stopping by here when I’m in the area for work.

This has to be the best Indian food in Tacoma. The cook really knows his stuff. I wish it was somewhere else more convenient. Freighthouse square is hard to get to and surrounded by scary drug addicts. It used to be convenient to get after work when I arrived by sounder train, but the owners of freighthouse square posted signs saying train commuters were not welcome any more, so I stopped going there.

Very friendly while ordering. Definitely feels like a mom & pop in a food truck in the best way possible.
