Food quality and flavor was underwhelming especially given the cost per plate, but maybe thats what they mean by “Texas-style” mexican vs a more authentic option. The burritos and tacos we ate reminded me of an American family taco dinner, and while good, it lacked something special to bring me back. The kitchen area looked well run, but unfortunately worn down. I wouldn’t be afraid for safety, but it needs some updates and renovation to improve the appeal.

Very good burritos, sauce was flavorful, and the meat was cooked perfectly. I do have to say that the burritos were pretty small. Tater tots also were crispy and fried fresh, and all in all, a pretty good place.

I’ve been coming to Taco shop since I was a young girl! I absolutely love Pete and his Family ! The food is always 5 star and I would not go anywhere else for a home cooked Mexican meal.. Always faithful to come to Taco shop !! Wether I’m living in or out of town!! I have brought all my family and friends to eat @ Taco shop throughout the years and We ALL love it!!! Petite hits the mark everytime!! {Menudo) is my favorite menu item!!

This place is an icon in Moses lake and for VERY good reasons… the atmosphere is a low key no frills wonder.. As soon as you open the door you are not only welcomed verbally by the sweetest girls… but the amazing smells just surround you like a hug from an old friend. I highly recommend you stop in and delighting only your taste buds .. but meet an amazing family that has welcomed us all like family for 44 yrs. This is my very favorites place to eat in Moses lake.
