Really friendly staff with really impressive sushi. Walks past this nondescript place for years before trying it and ultimately regret not coming here sooner. Their sushi is incredible have they also have a variety of other Asian food options including ramen which was very good. They also have a full bar with seating, which is an easier way to get in and out without needing a table.

Toryumon is one of my favorite sushi places in Arlington! While the sushi is on the pricier side ($45 to $50 for 2 Special Rolls and 1 Salmon Avocado Roll), the sashimi is very fresh and excellent quality. I’ve always been satisfied each time I’ve dined here.

Originally gave them 5 stars because usually I enjoy their sushi. Lately, prices have gone up and value has gone down. There is almost no salmon in my salmon cucumber roll and my other rolls are just as sparse. Very disappointing.

We are a family that loves and appreciates good sushi, and we can be pretty harsh critics. Today we stopped by Torymon, and we were so pleasantly surprised. Prices were decent (avarage) but the quality of food was way above average. Our dishes arrived fast, presentation was beautiful and the quality of fresh fish was impressive. We had several rolls and two appetizers, and everything was delicious. Our server was attentive, fast and polite. We really enjoyed our Saturday lunch, and we can’t wait to be back. Definitely recommend.

We went there for both my husband and son’s birthday (same day) and the whole family absolutely loved both the sushi and the ramen! I picked it based on reviews online, and boy did it not disappoint. The atmosphere was laid back and perfect for the occasion. The waiter was super nice and friendly and even gave us free mochi ice cream for the birthday for all 5 of us! We ordered a variety of rolls but I can honestly say their rainbow roll was literally the best one I’ve had, and we’ve been to many sushi joints around town. Two of the kids that are ramen lovers had the pork Ajitama Ramen. It was fabulous and they gobbled it up so fast. Would definitely go back again. My 10 year old son rated it “100 out of 10!”

Pretty satisfying sushi! We went during happy hour, which is until 7 pm and they had regular and specialty rolls available. Ordered the Pink Lady and the Yummy specialty rolls, and they we both delicious! Will be coming back soon.

One of my favorite Japanese spots in the DMV area! I’m usually a little skeptical of Japanese restaurants that try to cover a wide variety of dishes, but Toryumon manages to execute every dish on its expansive menu (which includes sushi, sashimi, ramen, and hibachi) perfectly. I came here for dinner on a Saturday evening with a couple of friends and was thoroughly impressed by every item that we ordered.

This was a great find. The waiters were kind and efficient. We sat at the Sushi Bar and watched each piece of sushi be prepared and given to us on a beautifully garnished plate. Everything was served quickly and with care. The sushi tasted very good and fresh. The sushi chefs acted professional and efficient. This Japanese House is perfect for all kinds of people since they also have plenty of non-sushi related options.
