Not too bad but also not great. They are trying to do New York style pizza but the crust is too thick so you end up feeling like you are eating too much bread and too little toppings. Slices are a good size. Most people could eat two and feel pretty full which means you can eat lunch for less than $10 pre-tip.

I had a great experience at Empire tonight! We were looking for a cool spot with good food and good beer open a bit later on a Tuesday and popped into Empire. Keegan was super helpful from his pizza slice suggestions to his beer suggestions. We had some great conversations tonight. I’ll definitely be back to see him!

Update 5/18/23: Our experience this time was excellent so I gave it another star. You can get buy one, get one free slices the day of shows at Cain’s if you bring your concert tickets! The MCA was fantastic.

Everything was perfect. Our server was absolutely fabulous. She told us about a special on a peach craft beer, and the purchase of it qualified us for free stuff. We got a t shirt, a pint glass, and a brandy glass! So much fun.

Delectable slices! There was no wait, I sat at the bar. They had 3 TV’s on: one was reruns of The Office, one was Tommy Boy, and one was King of the Hill, my kinda place! I ordered a slice of the pepperoni and the evil empire. My only wish is that my stomach was larger, I could have done a few more. Highly recommend for an amazing slice of pizza, neat atmosphere, and friendly staff.
