We went on a day when fish was the main dish….they had no fish….they had no burgers….they pretty much had nothing but beef stew…so we all got beef stew. It was under impressive. The Mac and cheese was soggy as if the noodles had been soaking all day. One of us had no beef in our beef stew, the other had a good amount of beef but no veggies and another got a whole bunch of potatoes. The guy behind the counter was unforgiving in his attitude about not having anything too, it was laughable at best. To say we won’t be back anytime soon is an understatement. Unless it’s the LAST carribbean joint in Hampton Roads running….we’ll drive to Richmond instead – it was THAT bad! I wouldn’t feed it to the stray cats.

The people at this restaurant are extremely helpful. I came in last minute needing a large quantity of jerk chicken for a work potluck. With no advance notice these ladies were able to put together a large quantity of chicken and generous helpings of sauce in only 15 minutes! Very reasonably priced as well! My thanks and gratitude to the nice ladies working there!

Got beef stew and Mac and it was disgusting. Had no real flavor and was extremely sweet as if they dumped sugar on it. Beef was chewy n Mac n cheese wasn’t good at all or fresh. Tried to take it back and the lady just looked at me as if she couldn’t help or compensate me then told me they were closed. I have never given a bad google review but management at this location must do better. Extremely disappointed in the food and quality of service. They did bad business all around and I wont be coming back

Food is usually great and so is their juice. However, I ordered one thing through GrubHub and received another. And when I called to let them know, I was greeted by a rude man named “Jamal” that said “we aren’t taking anymore orders,” and hung up. I called back 2-3 times before someone else picked up, a rude sounding lady who repeated the same thing Jamal did. I quickly said wait and explained my case. They said they would refund my order, but we’ll see. Surprised at how rude they were to me on the phone. Like I said, food and drinks are great. But wow, would like to see some professional and kind staff.
