I wish I would have taken pictures! This was our first time eating here and I wasn’t sure what to expect. I was beyond impressed and I’m pretty particular about my dining experience. It was a Friday during lent and I am on a low carb diet so my expectations were pretty high and I was hungry. Our waitress was fantastic. The owner did a perfect job of table touching and making everyone feel welcome. I didn’t feel pestered and yet didn’t want for anything. Our food took longer than fast food to make, but it was OBVIOUS when it came out that was because the attention to detail was SUPERB. My husband had the beer battered catfish that was flaky delicious and HUGE. I had the Salmon that was cooked to perfection and was actually the advertised size of 8oz (if not more!). We both had asparagus and it was so yummy. If I had one suggestion it would be that they add a sugar free low carb dressing of some kind. I must say that I had the salad anyway with no dressing and while a few more tomatoes would have been nice the greens were SO fresh and tasty I gobbled them up without a care that there wasn’t any dressing. More proof? The table next to us had a young boy that wanted them to keep bringing him more lettuce and sliced tomatoes for his buger! All of the staff were incredible and brought him at least 3 plates of ‘extras’. It warmed my heart to see a child eating so healthy and the staff encouraging it. Plus the food MUST have been good, that little child weighed no more than 40lbs and ate his burger like an adult. Kids are picky so you KNOW that means it was good! Some may say the decor is dated, but I actually enjoyed it very much. Everyone is always spending loads of money to modernize, but I think playing up the decor to make it look older would not only be more cost effective I think it would be an excellent venue to dress up and go out to. I absolutely loved everything about this place and I plan to be back many more times.

Let me start off by saying, WOW!! Took my girlfriend out here for dinner, and it was fantastic! We both ordered the top sirloin, medium rare. It was cooked to PERFECTION!! BEST STEAK I’VE EVER HAD!!

I had prime rib and my wife had a sirloin and neither was fit to eat. We spent $70.00 and left 2 plates of food. I have never complained at a restaurant but this was the worst food I have spent money on.

This is the first review I’ve ever done in my life and I must say this place is a hidden gem me and a coworker stop in for dinner after work and it was amazing and trucker friendly food was amazing and I’ve been to some pricey places in some large city’s which is why this place deserves a detailed review service 100% never looked for my waitress once and she wasn’t always poping in which can be annoying perfect balance around if I had to search for something negative to say it would have to be this place isn’t in my home town ya that have to be the only bad thing any road warriors passing by must stop in it’s that good I’m talking down to the plating of your food nothing was off

What a very pleasant surprise. Right here in our backyard, Kascade Steakhouse is a hidden gem. Tried the Mediterranean platter. Cabbage rolls and a gyro along with a Greek salad. Its located in the old Carthage Country Club and still very well preserved. Highly recommend trying and worth the short drive to Carthage, Mo if you live nearby.

Post response update : Dear mgr , given your response i only feel better about NEVER coming back to your dive again . Excuses are like you know what…. my wife wanted the dessert not me and sure didnt make up for the nasty waitress or the food………Went saturday night with my wife for dinner about 6pm . First off the waitress with the moon tattoo on her upper arm was drunk and i caught a buzz off her breath as she laughed when i asked for a wine menu . I then order the $30 ribeye that came out looking like a waffle house skillet steak as she never remembered to bring out the rest of my order as the bartender let her know he was on “hydros” … needless to say we wont be back .

One of the worst dining experiences my family has had in a very long time. Poorly cooked food across the board especially for the price. Management disagreed and without discussing with me, complained about us loud enough to our waitress that we could hear from another room. Never once did he come out and talk with us. Instead, he sent the waitress out. We won’t be back and wouldn’t suggest others to go under this manager.
