We had breakfast at the Cape Charles Coffee House. Located in a building over 100 years old. We were able to enjoy fluffy pancakes, crisp bacon, seasoned home fries, stuffed breakfast burrito and endless coffee refills with the freshest fruit I’ve had in a while. It was very crowded but worth the wait. The hostess sounds like Miley Cyrus when she talks and the servers were very friendly with the biggest smiles signaling to us they were happy to accommodate us. We truly enjoyed our meals I just hate I forgot to take a picture of my food. Give them a try they won’t disappoint.

We were visiting Cape Charles and stopped in for breakfast here two days in a row. The food was really good – we had scrambled eggs, fruit, toast, and bacon both days! The waitresses were very sweet and friendly. The only little glitch was that both days we were there, the A/C didn’t seem to working well so the restuarant was a bit stuffy. All in all it’s a fun place to have some yummy food.

Poor service – arrived at 9:05 this am told not open, come back. No indication of what time. Arrived in the evening at 4:45pm to get to go coffee and the doors are locked. Come to Cape Charles often, happy to support other local coffee shops.

I love this place for breakfast, brunch and lunch. Simply delicious. The place is always hopping, but things move along quickly. A hidden gem. Coffee is great as well. Wait staff friendly and accommodating. Pay them a visit. You won’t be sorry.

This place is beautiful and staff is so kind but the service was honestly pretty poor. We waited 25 mins to be seated which wasn’t a big deal. But people come in and order at the desk and then seat themselves at open tables increasing the wait time. Once we were seated, we waited a pretty long time to order. Got half of our drinks and had to ask three separate people for the rest of our drinks and then finally got them. Ordered an additional drink that never came. The food was great but we probably wouldn’t come back due to the disorganization.

It’s a cool unique place but the wait after ordering food was more than 45 mins. The lox bagel was incredible though and coffees were tasty. One of the servers was also very helpful when getting us seated.
