Just found this little gem close to home! We tried 3 types of their street tacos and some nachos for our son. The tacos were delicious and well priced. We also tried their red and green salsas and loved them. They had a good spice but it didn’t overpower the flavor of the food.

You simply MUST try their Elotes (with everything). The small order was almost too much for 2 people to eat in one sitting. The tacos are overstuffed with delicious meats or Nopales and the Sopes are excellent. We’ve been here 3 times over the past two months and each time we’ve discovered a new, tasty dish.

I came here for the first time at 12:00 (lunch time) it was very packed but cashier was taking orders fast and accurately- food arrived quick and hot and let’s not forget AMAZING. I ordered a torta and horchata and it was just the best one I’ve had in a long time- Silvia taqueria beats fitos any day! Staff was incredibly sweet and nice THANK YOU!!

We ordered Barbacoa, Chicarron, and Chicken Quesadia. The Barbacoa was very decent though I wouldprefer a bit more oil. It was just a bit bland not dry but not…you know juicy The quesadilla was 5 stars. They were sooo juicy and full of flavor. The Chicharrones were also 5 stars. They were perfectly done, not dry not too wet. The corn tortillas were very good.

Sylvia’s is a good little place for quick authentic Mexican cuisine. This is counter order but they do bring your orders to the table. I had the fajita tacos with refried beans and potatoes. The beef was cooked well and nicely seasoned. Unfortunately they do not have fresh chips like most taquerias have, nor do they offer any at all to go with your food. The restaurant was very clean and well maintained and the restrooms were extremely clean. Good for a quick bite.
