The food was awesome. It was fresh, authentic, and delicious. The service was excellent and the restaurant was very clean. I am definitely coming again. The only bad thing was my bf ordered a spicy Pho and it was so spicy, a small drop splashed into his causing it to burn. Funniest thing ever! However the Pho was delicious!

Just to lay the foundation, I’ve been eating Pho for over 30 years. I’ve had a thousand bowls from many places all over the United States. I live in Arlington, and I’ve had countless bowls from Pho 95, and Pho Pasteur, etc etc. This Pho from Pho Ghien may well be the best Pho I’ve ever had. The broth was clear, and I could taste the anise and cardamom, but it was smooth and subtle. The noodles were perfect. I ordered the Pho with the oxtail and it arrived in the piping hot stone bowl which kept it hot for the duration of the meal. It appears that they used cilantro stems as a garnish in the Pho which added to the great textures. The flavor was incredible from start to finish. I really look forward to trying the other premium Pho that they offer that includes beef rib amongst other fine meats. The waitress and the lady that runs the counter who I assumed is the owner are both very pleasant and kind. This may be my new favorite place. I definately highly highly recommend Pho Ghien.

Pho is good! I like the homemade big flat noodles. But be cautious of the stone bowl which is way too hot for summer. Maybe it would be an ideal hot soup for winter. Highly recommend this local restaurant!

The best and my only fav Pho place in Arlington so far. The homemade noodles and perfectly cut meats serving in hot stone bowl is a no brainer. I tried all of Pho places and Pho Ghien is my number 1. I can eat here everyday all year long.

this used to be Pho Pasteur which was my stable until their broth flavor declined. i had high hopes for Pho Ghiền after seeing a review on a Facebook group and the server told me it’s new owner + new chef. the pho is served in a stone bowl which keeps the broth hot for longer vs regular bowls. the meat quality is good, taste of broth is just okay. their menu was a little misleading tho because they advertised banana blossom in the veggies that comes with BBH but there’s only purple & white cabbage and rau răm. they also put size S & size L but when i ordered, they said BBH only comes in a large. their BBH is also on the sweet side, not savory. i would come back and give other menu items a try, but i definitely think they shouldn’t include so much details on the menu if they’re not gonna follow through with it.

The room is both roomy and comfortable. I ate the special pho in a Special bowl, however, because the ice bowl maintains temperature for a long time, the noodles are softer and the soup is rather hot, making it challenging for customers to consume. Maybe order separate meat, beef balls, and noodles. The choice of what to eat before and after will be up to the customers. That’s my opinion. The Bun Bo Hue’s soup is a pretty plant and not overly flavorful.

I used to come to another restaurant that was in this location over the years. Since I was in the area, I thought I would try the new place. The scenery is still easygoing. The people are nice as well. As for the food, I saw I would have to give it a 2.5. Which is why I gave this Pho restaurant an average of a 4. Since they are new, I do hope they make some changes.

We drove all the way from Dallas to Arlington due to good sharing experiences and reviews from other pp. I ordered 2 phở nạm gầu gân vè for me and my mom,and there was no vè in my bowl and my mom’s bowl. Very very little bánh phở, even my 6-yr-old baby said it was so little bowl for her. When I checked out, I told the lady at the reception desk about the missing vè, there was no apology or a sorry from her, she just looked at me like she doesn’t care, what’s the problem w it . Very disappointed, never come back

Quaint little place for family to dine in. Service was fast and servers were attentive. We ordered pho and crunchy noodle and they were good. I love how there are variety of selections here. We will be back!
