Abolutely top tier deli! The pastrami and corned beef were tender, juicy, and packed with flavor, the knish had an amazing soft and chewy texture without being too dense, and the falafel and quinoa wrap was fresh, zippy, and complex. Highly recommend for both the food and the nostalgic vibes.

Abe’s Deli reminded me of living in New York with their delicious Meats and well prepped sandwiches, reminiscent of classic NY delis! Their famous rueben was one of the best I’ve ever tasted, and i cannot wait to go back and have it again! Their turkey & corned beef on rye was delicious. This was all topped off by the great service from the waitress and fast service from the kitchen. Coffee was good and I’ll definitely be going back!

Great pitstop! On our way down from Toronto, we stopped by Scranton naturally because of The Office. A quick google search revealed this little spot in town. Great customer service and great food. I ordered the pastrami sandwich and was actually given a different sandwich which I’m glad I got. I’m not exactly sure what it was because it didn’t have cheese so I don’t think it was a Reuben. But delicious nonetheless. Would love to stop by here on my next trip down south.

A good little deli with a pickle problem. Spent last weekend in Scranton and was looking forward to lunch at Abe’s; wanted to see how it would stack up against the best from NYC, LA and Miami. Let’s just say they did okay. The staff was great, friendly, efficient and attentive. The corned beef was very tasty, if a bit dry. Same for the chopped liver. Portions were decent; price a bit high but fair.

The food was excellent and the atmosphere even better! Abe’s was suggested by a Scranton local and it did not disappoint! My potato pancakes and blueberry blintzes were so good that I’m going to be a little sad returning home to a city that doesn’t have an Abe’s.

SO delicious a must visit in Scranton!! The sandwiches were delicious and well priced. There is gluten free bread available and it is really good! The menu is expansive and includes many Jewish deli classics, as well as a variety of daily specials. The space is super cute.
