I went to Havana Dreamers after a Facebook page I follow recommended their Cuban sandwich. The name caught my attention. A cute little café in Trinity, only 10 minutes from home.

This was an incredible find !!! Talk about a Gem !!! My brother wanted an authentic Cuban sandwich & this place didn’t disappoint!!! Everything from the location, the decorations, the old-school Cuban look, this place is absolutely amazing!!! Looks like a small historic museum !!! I fell in love with this place !!! As soon as you walk in you feel like you’re in a little Havana, just a beautiful little place. The employees were incredibly helpful, the restaurant was very clean and as I walked in I can hear a few customers sitting outside enjoying their meal talking about how amazing the food was!!! Never been to Cuba myself but have spent a lot of time down in Miami & Key West and let me tell you, this was awesome !!! Treat yourself to an amazing meal here

My fiancé and I went to Havana because we hadn’t been in so long. We were really excited because we normally love their food. But today, we didn’t. My plantains were burnt to a crisp. I couldn’t even eat them because the burnt taste was disgusting. Our Cuban sandwiches were fairly over cooked. The flavors and deliciously we are so used to just weren’t there. The staff was talking for the majority of our 40 minute wait. If they had been paying attention to the food, maybe we’d have had a better experience. It just sucks because we love this place. So today was a real disappointment.

The version of a “Tampa Cuban” is not. They do not have deviled crabs anymore and the stuffed potatoes are a little bigger than a golf ball, store bought and cold inside when served. The pork in the Cuban was old and dry. The Cuban bread was good and pressed perfectly.

Great service and my buddy said it was the best Cafe Con Leche he’s had in Florida!

My Miami Cuban was very good. My friend didn’t care much for his Picadillo meal. The soda machine lacks carbon. He informed them. They said they were going to change it. But got distracted and never changed it. When we entered, they weren’t busy, but the counter person was standoffish standing back. It wasn’t until another person asked if we were ready for them to walk forward and take our order. Maybe this was an off day. Maybe it was too hot out. I don’t know. I enjoyed my food, but will most likely not go back anytime soon.

First time going here. I didn’t get anything besides a simple bacon egg and cheese sandwich, some coffee and croquettas. Let me tell you it was heaven! I’ve had breakfast sandwiches all over the nation, this one is going in my top 5. Simple and delicious, I don’t know if it’s the butter or the Cuban bread. What I do know is we will be back. Most definitely!!

I’m gluten-free and was happy with the roast pork meal. We rode our bikes 5.5 miles out from there and back. Sat outside for our meal afterwards, and it was so such a nice way to end our ride. Seems like a popular place, I can see why.

Found this gem a couple days ago and had to try it out as I love a good cuband. I got the Tampa Cuban. This one of the best Cubans I have ever had. The pork is cooked to perfection and the bread is truly pressed to perfection as well. Everything about this place is just unbelievable. I will absolutely be back SEVERAL times over. Very well done to this restaurant.
