In my opinion Pizza Azteca is the best independently owned pizza joint in Oak Cliff. It’s not trying to be a hipster hangout like the places further up on Davis, just a good, old school pizza place (a sign outside literally says “f**cking good pizza which is awesome. I’m including a photo of it in my review).

Thought we’d try this place out because of the great reviews, we will never be going back. The wings were the worst I’ve ever had. Old, dry, small…VERY small and seemed not like real chicken. They don’t even come with ranch!! The pizza was ok. I would hate to see how much sauce they put on a normal pizza because we paid $3.00 for extra sauce and got a pizza dry as heck! Some bites had NO Sauce. What a disappointment. The only way they have good reviews is because they give you free fries for a good review…..beware!

Fast service! I got the Carnivore pizza MEGA and me being silly thought the mega size wasn’t big. But it sure was! It was super tasteful and the amount of toppings was excellent!

Ordered 3 pizzas and a 12 piece mozzarella sticks. Pizza was great! Definitely used canned mushrooms like another review mentioned but I don’t see the problem with that. All 3 pizzas were delicious according to the family! Not sure if the Most Sticks were cooked early or it was the small trip back to the hotel but the cheese wasn’t as melted as expected. Would only recommend moz sticks being cooked last if in a large order if thats what caused it. They were still delicious though. Also got plenty of Marinara sauce unlike some of the mainstream food places give you. Customer service was good and estimated ready for pickup time was on point! All around had a great experience and would definitely go again.

Good food and good service, got some Pizza and Steak fries. They sell Beer, beverages and Wine chilled already. I also noticed some cakes and pastries. Great find and Thankful this wasn’t a waste of money and food.
