I got the brisket, jalapeño sausage, red potatoes and greens. I am a truck driver and eat all over this nation. This was by far the best meal I have had in a very long time. The flavors made me feel like my mouth was experiencing food for the first time. I will always be eating here when I travel by. Only bad experience about the place was the cashier grunted and dismissed me cause I did not give as much of a tip as he wanted….oh well…

The employee was helpful and friendly. What I was offered was not the best on the sides and the veggie plate. The roasted potatoes had a spicy flavor added, mashed potatoes had a funky flavor. The baked potato itself was good. The works without meat were good except the fake bacon bits you would think they would give you real bacon bits. They didn’t ask if you wanted certain toppings or more of them. Don’t care for ranch on baked potato before I could stop them putting it on there. For the price of what I ordered was jaw dropping. I probably won’t go there again. I ordered 2 of the pies they offered through the store. One lemon and apple. Grew up on fried pies and know you’ll never get as good as homemade but these were just awful. The lemon was a pie filling, the apple was canned pie filling.The pies are very big and the filling didn’t even fill half of it. The dough was thick and greasy. On the prep table the fillings were out on the table. Not refrigerated. Won’t be buying anything from that section again.

Came to the recently opened Texas Best Smokehouse and had an amazing experience. Ordered the “Cowboy” and had some of the best brisket and ribs I have ever had; they even have their own “in-house” smokers. The store was clean and had a great Texas theme too it. Staff was personable and fast. Will be up back!

I was really surprised this place was so highly rated and recommended until I ate there. The food was excellent, and far better then expected. It’s not a gas station with food, it’s a couple food places and there happens to be gas and electric charging stations. I had the brisket, pulled pork, and Mac-n-cheese and it was pretty good. My companions got the same and ribs and spicy sausage and that was all good as well. Really enjoyed it and we were all surprised how good it was.

I ordered the brisket sandwich, potato salad , and coleslaw. The meat was cold. I almost asked for a refund. The brisket was dry and the bbq sauce had no flavor.Potato salad had way to much mayonnaise. The coleslaw was okay. Service was off. Felt like the employee taking my order didn’t understand English. He kept giving me things I didn’t want. Can’t see any reason to ever return.

We eat here all the time. The food is always good. My husband get the loaded barrel. It is so large that we started splitting it. They know us so well that they know to cut the potato in half and load it on two plates. They are always so friendly when we come to the counter and greet us with a smile.

Tried for 1st time. At 60 years old. I officially found the worst BBQ ever. Over half of meat was fat. Which I hate. Ordered sauce on the side, didn’t get. Tried hubby’s sauce. Glad I didn’t get. No flavor to meat. If you buy go home & season the meat, & use any store bought sauce. 3/4 of my sandwich was trashed. I wouldn’t even let my dogs eat it. Mainly fat. I added more to this pile of fat. . Never again. Photo is closer to 3/4 fat on my sandwich.

I went here to get a quick bite to eat and there was a line. I was trying not to be here long as I am a driver and my ELD clock was still counting. I ordered a sandwich and got to the counter to pay. As it became my turn the clerk on the register had given my sandwich to the people in front of me. I was mad, and there was a line which I didn’t have time to go back through. So I left. The only good thing is I didn’t pay because it was never rung up. I was disappointed and hungry because I wasted my time. Please do better in the future.

Finally a good place for smoked brisket. I have purchased several times and was pleased for the most part. I always ask them to trim the fat and they do. Certainly some pieces of brisket are better than others, if you don’t like what you see, ask them to pull out another slab of meat. I highly recommend, but inspect what you expect.

My wife and I tried tbbbq yesterday. She had smoked chicken and pulled pork mashed potatoes Mac and cheese. I had brisket and pork spare ribs mixed vegetables red potatoes. She had blackberry cobbler i the banana pudding. All the food was excellent. We shared back and forth so each could decide what we liked best. We still don’t know it was all very good. For the first time in recent memory restaurant blackberry cobbler was exceptional same goes for banana pudding. The workers were very friendly and helpful. We will return.
