Shelby was amazing! The lemon pound cake was amazing. The French fries were really good. I came here expecting a really good steak and what I received was not worth the money. A few of our steaks got sent back for different reasons. My steak had layers of burnt grill pieces on it and there was no love in making the steak. It was very bland. I had to return my steak to the chef because it was undercooked. The attached photo is after it came back to the table. For median well, my steak was red. I took it home and cooked it seasoned it with s&p, thyme butter and garlic. Also the calamari was cooked unusual. It’s hard to describe but I wouldn’t order them again.

Food: The entry dish is well. The presentation is great. But, the Flavors have room to improve. The main dish is good. Texture is on the point, aceptable. But, needs more deepness on the flavor. The dessert is excellent. The wine is good.

We came here for the very first time during restaurant week and all I can say is WOW! The food was amazing. We got 3 courses for the set restaurant week menu and we both loved every single one of them. Parking is a bit of a hassle and you’ll have to park in a nearby garage. Because…well…downtown, but the service was great, the vibes were exactly what you’d expect from an upscale hotel restaurant/bar, and the portions were perfect.

As soon as you walk past the hostess desk, you immediately smell the stench of musty bar, your shoes stick to the floor as you walk to your table, and as soon as you sit down, you are assaulted by flies and gnats everywhere. Despite my best judgment, I ordered a glass of wine. The glass was filthy. I was starving so I went ahead and ordered food. After inspection, the silverware appear clean so cut in to my steak. Overcooked. I order medium rare…it came out well. Broccoli was undercooked and tough, and the salad was DRENCHED in salad dressing. I couldn’t finish any of it. Ugh…such a awful meal.

This is a top 5 meal that I’ve had in Hampton roads! I ordered the grilled salmon and bruschetta as an appetizer. The fish was well seasoned and perfectly seared in all Sides. We came in for 8pm reservations ina Friday night and the place wasn’t too busy. I’m not sure why because the food was amazing. The wine menu has plenty of options and they also have craft cocktails. Definitely recommend you stop by.

One of my best experience restaurants this year is Capo Capo. My husband and I visited here 2 months ago. We had a bowl of excellent flavor white wine mussels which made me want to return there again. The grilled salmon with pasta and its special sauce was tasty and cooked well. The knocci with crab is satisfied. Overall, we had a great time and nicely served.
