Wow, this place is everything!!! So fresh, we can at a great time to see them make the Tamales on the spot. Ordered the Ribeye Steak cooked to perfection. Tamales taste so soft, and they don’t skip on the filling. Also, iced coffee was better than Starbucks.

I was excited to taste the tamales, I saw how large the line was to purchase tamales during the holidays. A tamale made without lard piqued my interest.

The food was hot and delicious! The service was great! I would definitely recommend this place. I will return to eat here again. There is one thing I would offer if I was Magaly… Room temperature salsa. The very cold refrigerated salsa makes food cold quickly when added. Other than that everything was excellent.

DANGER! BE WARE! DO NOT GO HERE!!! I got sick from a breakfast burrito. My husband was also sick to his stomach. I gave some egg to my dog and he threw up and had diareah. The owner needs to know the shenanigans going on with the cooks and staff. Unless this is a business front and he doesn’t care and is unaware. Any restaurant owner with integrity would not allow this to happen ever.

I feel bad to say this but the food wasn’t that good it was a to-go order and the and the portions were very skimpy the sauces were very over-salted and not quality made. I guess Mexican food is a thing of the past like people can say back in the day cuz this stuff is not good I worked in the food industry and I know what good Mexican food I’ve been to various places in the past 6 months and very unhappy with all of them and this one was very overpriced and very skimpy and the tamales were fair but not that great. I guess all the old school people that used to cook in these kitchens they all moved on now it’s left to these other people the food’s not good I don’t know what’s going on but it was highly overpriced and not good at all.

Be careful eating in this place, we bought a breakfast burrito the other evening, I shared the leftover tortillas to my dogs, we all wake up next day with food poisoning, me and my dogs were vomiting and have diarrhea. I had fever and couldn’t even go to work.

Another little gem in the East valley. Very nice atmosphere Friendly staff. Little fruit & Vegetable stand inside as well witch is pretty convenient. Called in my order and it was ready when I arrived so that’s another plus. Got a dozen tamales mixed pork, Chili cheese, Mixed vegetable and Sweet corn & Pineapple. I have to say Not bad at all! The tamales are a good size and prices are fair. If your ever in Sanfernando Give this place a try.

Oh, I am absolutely and positively eating here again. Probably anytime I’m in the San Fernando Valley to be honest! There were a ton of incredible menu options, and even VEGAN options! My dad and grandma both got the menudo and adored it (it was a way bigger portion than either of them expected too), and I got chilequiles rojo and a vegan tamale. Obsessed. Super fresh and high quality. Seriously can’t wait to go back!!
