Pork meat and flavor is off the chain. I went there after going to another Mexican restaurant on Broadway in EC. The Grande Sope was the best one I’ve eaten in 2 years. I have been trying for years to get one made in the cup with the seasoned shell, and they actually had it. Their tacos and sope was the best I have had in awhile, food was hot and delicious. You gotta try them!!

Tacos weren’t the best this time. Sope was golf ball size. It took 26 minutes to get my order. Prices go up but service and food go down. This is happening in alot of restaurants today!!

This is the kind of hole in the wall local “institution” kept alive by nostalgia and a dearth of other late night options. Their simple menu offers a basic sampling of Mexican food with their hallmark dishes being sopes and crispy fried beef/picadillo tacos. I got some of both as well as a few soft pork tacos and chips with pico.

We have been going here for over 20 years.It has new management now it definitely isn’t the same. Ordered 4 sopes, the shell was fried beautifully not hard, but the pork meat wasn’t good. Won’t be going back.

The sopes were good, but the combo (sopes grandes) comes with 2 sopes, a pop, plus fries. The sopes were good but the fries were soggy and terrible. They need to bring back the rice & beans with the combo.

Been going here for 50 years now. Only place in the world that has an eatable sope cup. Used to love the hard tacos, but they do not taste the same to me. I also really like their simple hot sauce, goes perfect with their food.

Pork tacos with papas, best around, take out only here. Although they do have a counter to stand and eat. Place is clean and been around since I was kid but same great recipe. Call in the order and pick it up about 5-10 min later, enjoy.
