This is great food. You’d expect less from a grocery store grille but they’re always made well and tasty options. And the weekend breakfast special made it affordable!

First week of business and both times visiting have been great. Fast friendly service, fresh food and large clean dining area.

Nice atmosphere for a HyVee. Bathrooms are a ways away from the eating area though. They didn’t have a salad bar when we were there. Not sure if that’s normal for this store but I also didn’t see the equipment for a salad bar.

I have recently quite eating at there deli entirely, due to bad food done different each time I visit. And the service is not good at all the breakfast cooks are lazy, deep fried homefried potatoes and bacon also deep fried, can’t cook eggs to save there lives. Totally different at ever other hy- vee than The new one in North Liberty, The cooks need to take some pride in their work or the deli manger needs to be a supervisor and take responsibility for what is happening in the kitchen, will never eat a bite of food from the deli again.Been a hy vee fan for over twenty something years.Best breakfast is gone for good. And the chicken has fallen off, pre breaded frozen chicken and all tast like it. Sometimes you put too much science in food and take out the homestile and it shows in the flavor and what your deli case looks like. Old and not very eye appealing. Could go on forever but won’t just let you know You have now lost another customer along with number more that ask me where to go for food which is often. Since I am a chef and own a restaurant. I sound critical but that is easily confused for disappointed and finally done. From A former customer.

Super disappointed tonight. Ordered an $11 sushi roll, that in the past when I ordered, it was fresh. Tonight it was a roll that had been on the shelf, with a “Best if Used by 7:26pm.” I didn’t order my food until 8:30pm. Called the Grille to find out if this was “normal practice,” with them responding, “I’m sorry ‘mam, yes it is.”

Jerri is the best. Matt the manager is super knowledgeable about beer and takes the time to talk, even though he’s always busy.
