Man this place is amazing the short ribs is one of the best I ever had a must try at this location. The beef tofu at medium spice is also amazing I really enjoyed the food here. Will be coming back again. If anyone is in the mood for some top of the line short ribs this is the place to be. 10/10

4.2 stars. This place is more than soondoobu. Man, me and my boys feasted!!! Will def come here again. Parking can be challenging and we were in a more private area and the group inside w us was extremely loud. I wanted to laugh loud on purpose (I can be super loud if I want) but decided against it. The waitress actually apologized for on their behalf. Reminded me of the drunk personality sketch I saw somewhere. That group of 5 were definitely the LOUD drunks 😉 still fun times and great food. We got the big yukejang, haemul pa Jun and a bunch of other stuff. Workers were nice and we got a little drink on. Fun times

Went with my wife for date night. Yummy food. Great service. The ribeye, short rib were perfect. The tofu soups are delicious. The fried dumpling are the stuff of dreams.

Drop what you’re doing and go to Chung Dam Tofu! This place was incredible and is the perfect spot for authentic Korean cuisine. The staff was incredibly welcoming and helped walk me through the menu. The menu provides plenty of options for groups so make sure to come hungry with friends. I ordered a few dishes and was not disappointed! I put in an order for the BBQ beef short ribs, the chilled soup of buckwheat noodles in beef broth, and the bimbibap with kimchi. Each dish really shined and showed the quality and care of the chef. I would definitely say that each dish was crafted and thought and precision put into each dish. Here is a breakdown of the dishes I ordered:

Maybe it’s because we went at an odd time for a meal (3pm on a Sunday) but everything was just slightly off. Service was forgetful, food was over salted, etc

Had the Tofu Soup with intestine (spicy) and it was delicious, one of the best I’ve had. I’m curious to try the very spicy level next, as well as to try the cold noodles.
