The food is so delicious! I got the Pork Belly grilled cheese it was AMAZING! The cheese was so fresh, so stringy, and delightful; the sauce was a beautiful addition; the pork belly itself was heavenly. My partner got the sweet and spicy chicken Katsu which was so delicious he fell completely silent to focus on solely enjoying the food.

So! Good! I’m not from this area but I’m so glad I found this! 4SM seems like a cute up and coming area and with a lot of food options and space for both small and larger groups. We got the Honey Sesame Katsu, Pork Belly Fries, and Crunchy Musubi!

It was my first time trying Fakas Island Grill. I saw an Instagram post about the Tonkatsu and I just needed to try it. I ordered the sweet and spicy tonkatsu and it was very delicious. At some point I did get tired of the taste but maybe it’s because I got full quickly. The plate comes with rice, the chicken with the sweet and spicy sauce drizzled and a side of pasta. Overall it was good, but I don’t know if I would order the same thing again.

The sweet chili garlic shrimp was delicious and the Mac salad was pretty good. The shrimp was crispy, sweet and savory with the garlic after taste. Not a big fan of the cole slaw so I would ask for double Mac salad if possible. The pork belly sandwich was filling, soft and tender with every bite. Worth a visit if you’re in the area.

The best island food I’ve ever had. The Mac salad is on point, the pork belly melts in your mouth, the shrimp is monstrous, the Holy Faka’n Fries are killer, and every dish is a kick of flavor that will make you want to keep eating, even after you’re full. If you ever go to LA, or find yourself near Anaheim/Huntington Beach, do yourself a favor and treat yourself to some Faka’s. Amazing food and plenty of it at a fair price. i can not recommend the pork belly fries enough. they may be a bit pricey but it’s so worth it considering how much pork belly you get and everything from the fries to the sauce to the pork belly is so on point. the staff was so nice too. definitely excited to come back to this place and try out the rest of the menu!
