Itaewon Korean Restaurant was established in 2014, when Ryu Young had a dream to open a Korean Restaurant in America. He wanted to serve Authentic Korean Food to the people who’ve never or wanted to experience Korean Food for the first time. With the help from his family who was already living in Alabama, they opened “Itaewon Galbi” which was later changed to “Itaewon Korean Restaurant”. Ryu had to go back to Korea in 2016 but left the restaurant with his Sister. Since then Itaewon Restaurant has been thriving with great reviews and is known for its, fast and reliable service, great flavors and food, and great atmosphere. Family owned from the beginning, we strive for the best service and food for everyone who wants to try Korean Food.

Bulgogi is great tasting. We also like the fried flounder. The small salads and kimchi served before the entree are like mini appetizers. Food is serve fast. The bathroom is clean and homey. I like that they have decent huge portions for affordable price. Location is easy to find and close to a lot of other international cuisine. We stopped by while driving from Florida and Ohio. I recommend.

This was a very cute restaurant with beautiful vines and cozy atmosphere. The waiter was nice but there seemed to be only one so I understand it was difficult when more customers started to arrive. The food was delicious and comes out boiling hot just like I like haha. I do recommend the spicy pork Ramen probably the best Ramen I’ve ever had and if course get the egg. I even loved the snack dishes while you wait for your meal. The salad was different and refreshing and the peanuts well let’s just say I could have taken a gallon bag home with me.

Place was peaceful and the service was great. I got the squid. Waiter ask what spice level I wanted. I said 2. Let’s just say I should’ve got 1 for spicy! The meal was great though, even with the extra sweating from the spice! Stop in and check it out!

I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant! We got Bulgogi and Japchae. The Japchae was served with glass noodles which were perfection. The sauce had the perfect spice level. The sauce for the Bulgogi was my favorite. I loved all of the cabbage with the dish. Also, a special shout out to the salad at the start. The flavor is amazing. Thanks for an awesome meal. We can’t wait to come back soon!

Loved it! The food tasted amazing! I would highly suggest the bulgogi, its delicious, along with the kimchi, which was just wonderful. Also, warning, if you are not into spicy foods i would go with the level one spice. It gives just the right amount of kick, making it to die for! Dont hesitate to try this place out!
