It’s hard to believe that authentic Italian food can be healthy, but Millenonne made it possible. I went for a couple of times and I tried the meatballs, turkey lasagna, eggplant parmigiana, the chocolate pudding and Pannacotta and everything was amazing. Super tasty, delicious and with the best ingredients.

Finally I went back to the Essex market for some good italian food at Mille Nonne. to my surprise they had more vegetarian and even vegan dishes than I remembered! delish pink gnocchi in a vegan butter/sage sauce and their lasagna with or without meat always perfect they made me taste an amazing lentil soup and their version of Mac n cheese that was sublime! I want to make sure I’ll be hungrier next time Bravi Pilar and Bernardo, see you soon

What a pleasant discovery. Although the set up of Essex market is fast food like, Mille Nonne’s food has that home made taste. I tried the pasta with the eggplant/tomato and the vegan pesto. Their lemonade is to die for and the cookies and chocolate pudin are the perfect way to end your meal. Don’t hesitate, just visit!

This place is AMAZING. We tried a bunch of stuff and everything was better than the next. The pesto was the freshest I’ve ever had, the bolognese sauce was so flavorful but somehow light at the same time, cookies were incredible, and the orange brown lemonade was so refreshing. I can’t wait to come back. Also Pilar and Bernardo were so hospitable and told us everything about what we ate. We came right at closing by accident and they didn’t rush us out. You can tell how much passion they have in their work.

Tried their signature turkey lasagne and gnocchi with pesto on separate days and absolutely loved them! Also got their turmeric olive oil cookies, which I end up thinking about for days.

Meatball sub was awesome, meat and sauce very flavorful and quite filling and bread fresh and crisp. The homemade lemonade was also nice and the people were very friendly. I’d definitely stop by again if I’m in the neighborhood. If you pass by at the right time you can see the comically large bowl of ground meat they use for the meatballs, definitely snap a pic (I was busy chatting).

The vegetarian lasagne would be my last meal on earth! Everything is delicious, fresh and produced sustainably. My children say the turkey meatballs are the best they’ve ever eaten. And the most delicious desserts. Cater your entire dinner party from here as well!

There aren’t many true Italians that make Vegan food taste like amazing Italian food and Mille Nonne hits the bullseye. Their chocolate vegan pudding is to die for! Their vegan pesto gnocchi are delicious! My friend that’s not vegan also ate the Lasagna and told me it was the best she ever had. I recommend this place whole heartedly . The owners and cook are from Rome Italy and one can taste the authenticity of the dishes! Thumbs up!

Such a discovery! Usually, you don’t expect to find healthy food in food courts. And this place actually serves organic healthy food made with love, which you feel with each bite! We came with afriendto theEssexmarket almost before closing, so a lot of places were closed, except this….. I’mgladweate here. My friendandI tried two types of lasagna one with spinach and ricotta and another with turkey, also gnocchi with pesto and ricotta tiramisu…yeah we were hungry. Everything was delicious! I could eatthis turkey lasagna until theend of my life…..sooo good ! The ownerPilar is avery nice lady, who created thehealthier versionsif Italian food items fortheirmenu, she said that they use turkey because it has theleast impact on nature. I don’t eat pork and try to eat healthy, so this place is aperfect match for me! I definitely will be back, will recommend to everyone!
