This location always has a line so they must be doing something right. The chicken was hot and seasoned, the fries were fresh and my kids were happy. The drive through is creepy though. They need more light between these buildings.

I went to this location leaving Glenn heights from a family members house. I ordered at 9:25 at that time I was told wicked wings would be dropped 15 to 20 minutes I advised no problem. I parked an older came out apologized the did not dropped my order it would be an additional 15 min for legs it’s 9:45 at this time. Another younger lady came to my window and said don’t talk to her she has no clue what’s going on. I received my food at 10:15. My chicken was old and stale. Don’t even bother stopping here

DO NOT EAT HERE! Family ordered a family meal of chicken tenders yesterday and the chicken was soooo spoiled and rotten. It smelled like a dead animal and I know if the smell was that strong Frieda I’m sure they smelled it before they battered and fried it and they still chose to sale that to my family. We have small kids and my son ate one before I could stop him. This is unacceptable and down right DISGUSTING. I’ve never smelled chicken this rotten. I’m pretty sure the health department needs to go Check out this establishment and I will be calling them AND CORPORATE ASAP. My husband took the chicken back up there and they had the nerve to be RUDE ABOUT IT

I went up there a few hours ago and my experience was disappointing to say the least. I had 2 separate orders for two different people. I was planning to use my money to pay for one order and their money to pay for the other. When I got to the window they told us we couldn’t pay for two separate orders. I was confused because I’ve been to this location before and we’ve payed for orders separately. So in the end I had to pay for both orders fully with my money. This golden chick location is very inconsistent. Something seems to change every time I come here. I’ll just go to the Cedar Hill location from now own. Even though it’s farther, I’ll take the extra distance for consistency and better service.

Literally, just left this location. I specifically asked for fresh wings since I was purchasing 32 wings. I ordered I guess large, which I thought was the biggest but I didnt and I am fine with that, I ordered more fries. The manager stated that he was out of okra, ok that’s fine too, do not charge me for a large, yet gives me a small. The chicken wasn’t fresh but the kids are ok with that, not me. I will just eat the rice. I opened the rice to see it looking like this. I am wondering if this is used or are the employees told to not put enough rice in the cup by the owners. This is the 2nd time that I’ve came to this location, and it’s a fail. The manager had a slight attitude when I asked about the fries and the okra, the only reason I am giving this a few stars is because the young lady at the window was super sweet, and very respectful! Just need to cook my own food at home and stop giving my hard earn money to places that can’t get it right. It was the rice that made me write this review

My jalapeño poppers were soggy and smashed in a container and my tenders were lukewarm they tasted old. I called them and spoke with a manager that tried to claim that the tenders were fresh and that my jalapeños were not soggy. Then she hung up even though I was explaining that the tenders jalapeño poppers weren’t good to eat. The golden chick is way better in Ovilla. (I will be calling corporate.) :/
