This is one of our favorite places to eat. The sushi is always excellent, and they’re shrimp and filet is to die for. I know that finding good help in Lake City has been tough, and they have had to go through a couple of servers that were not so great, but if you get Christine, she’s the absolute best!

The food was not well season. Also there was a burnt and charged flavored through all of the food is if the grill hasn’t been properly cleaned. We didn’t finish the meal and decided to leave early I was very disappointed.

Never once have I ever had a bad meal or bad service. All staff are friendly, courteous and professional. Sit at the sushi bar and talk with the owner as he makes your tuna rolls fresh in front of you. It’s not just lunch, it’s an experience.

My plate came and looked as if someone had already picked through it and pushed the food around, they had spread out the vegetables as best they could to make it look like a full portion as you can see in the picture. I like calamari so I tried the calamari steak dinner, everyone that had it agreed it was almost identical in taste and texture to tofu. My wife’s sushi dinner roll was brought out 20 minutes before the rest of the meals, before the appetizer as well; she got the one roll and side of rice and wasn’t interested in finishing the sushi despite the food being half the amount he usually orders for a meal. The sushi itself looked like how I imagine it would be if I tried to roll it for the first time. Kids Mac and cheese was very obviously a box of Kraft Mac and cheese or some similar brand. Arrived at 7:05 didn’t get meal till after 8:00.

My wife and I had 7-8 different rolls soups,seaweed salad, 4-5 different dips,house salad with there Signature Homemade dressing really good I could of put it on my boot eat it

A place I would stop in again if I was in the area. They have great lunch options and decent prices. They have hibachi options that are prepared in the kitchen and brought out. No show. It is a small restaurant with good decore. The bathroom might benefit from an update. If you like Americanized Japanese style food, this is a good place to visit.

Local Jewel – lunch or dinner it’s a great spot. Small, clean, quick. We are regulars here. If you want good sushi or Japanese steakhouse where they do not cook in front of you.
