We are still fairly new to VA and love exploring. We wanted to take the kiddos to do something fun and escape the heat. Ruby’s Arcade is such a fun place! The food is fresh and made from scratch. There are lots of games including darts, pool, and skee ball and all for only $7! Even the little little had a blast bowling. Super fun place!

Visited here a few years back. Glad to see they are doing well. Really fun experience, prices were very reasonable for games and food. Great way to spend a couple hours with friends / kids / family

For a relatively low entry fee to play unlimited games, this place is pretty cool. I didn’t think the food was anything too impressive, but still better than what you’d find at most arcades. The price of the food I thought was high considering the quality wasn’t that great. But for such a low entry fee to play the games, it’s understood why the food might be priced higher.

The arcade is modern, clean and quite large. A lot of fun for a group of people to spread out and pick their own favorites to play. The staff seemed a bit chaotic, however. From the bartender to the front desk, the employees seemed overwhelmed. The poor bartender seemed stressed taking drink orders for canned beers that were just behind her in the fridge. All of this came to a poor ending when the entire venue shut down because there was flash flooding in the area. There wasn’t a lot of communication, they just told everyone they needed to immediately close their tabs and leave….which led to more chaos. This was disappointing for my group of seven who had all paid for the unlimited game wristbands but had only played one game of bowling before being kicked out. No one mentioned any kind of partial refund or raincheck. We had to abandon the drinks we just paid for and cut our night short.

Only two small negatives here: We had a devil of a time figuring out remotely what the current operating hours were (differing info online depending where you looked), so I’ve posted a photo of the temporary soft-reopening hours in effect. The other is you need to be patient with the duckpin lanes. Those mechanisms are old and can be finicky… Now that said, do yourselves a favor and visit this place!!

This place is lovely in a community hang out way. The beer, the food, and the atmosphere are all solidly in the fun category. Prices are reasonable (they get really great after 10:00PM) and the staff are delightful. Great place to come hang out with friends.

Ryan was our bartender tonight and he was very polite and checked up on us regularly to make sure we had everything we needed. He went out of his way to make sure we had a great time for my birthday so I really appreciated him!!

Super fun place for a good price! It’s often one of my go-to’s for lunch and quite a few hours of all my favorite games! They have a great mix of arcade games along with pool, foosball, duck pin bowling, etc.

Great place for family with good food and a great selection of games which should be nostalgic for anyone who grew up during the classic era of arcades. Kids had a blast and it’s an amazing value!
