I was so happy to find such lovely food in Hudson! I ate here twice! The red cesina tacos were incredible, as was the guacamole starter (molcajete? Avocado was super fresh and good). The tostadas were great too. Highly recommended!

PLEASE get the birria tacos, you won’t regret it!!! They’re comparable to the best birria tacos I’ve ever had, and that was all the way on the West coast! They also have Oaxacan mole, which I’ve never seen on a menu. Food is amazing, portion sizes are amazing, service is amazing too. Prices are reasonable too!

Tried the guacamole for an appetizer and for entrees we got steak tostadas & fried quesadillas with chicken. We enjoyed everything and thought the guacamole and chips were really good! Our food came out pretty quickly and the portions were all a good size. Definitely would come back and try other things on the menu too!

This is an authentic Oaxacan place and one should keep this in mind when they come here. The food is amazing and the portions are huge. Patrons tend to expect a typical Mexican menu but this is a place that is authentic through and through so keep this in mind. The Entomatadas are insanely good and highly recommended. I love this place.

We visited Hudson for a week and this was by far our favorite spot to eat! Family-owned restaurant, serving authentic Mexican food prepared with care and love, at all times of the day! Very conveniently located on Warren street, close to all shops, at the heart of Hudson – with a very pleasant outside seating space, offering welcoming shade during the hot summer months. Excellent quality-price ratio (arguably the best in town)! The latest dish we got recommended by the owner were the enchiladas Oexacanas – 10/10!

Where do I begin. My friends and I decided to try out this fairly new restaurant in our hometown and we were appalled by our experience. Our server had terrible attitude throughout our meal. As our order was being taken, we asked if we could do separate checks and were told, “No, because I already wrote it down.” When we asked for napkins and waited patiently, one of our friends decided to go inside and ask again, but was greeted by our server saying, “I told you to wait.” When it came time to the bill, we asked again if it would be possible to do separate checks and we were told “No, it’s too hard for me.” As we were deciding on what to do and how to tackle this bill, we were told to hurry up because ,”there’s other people I gotta attend to.” Other than the customer service, the food was great. I would recommend getting the nachos but don’t you dare ask for separate checks or napkins!!

Perfectly delicious no-frills Mexican spot. This place reminds of my favorite hole in the wall Mexican restaurants back on the west coast. No fussiness or trying too hard, just great quality Mexican food. The folks running are very friendly and down to earth. Will definitely be one of my go-to’s when I’m in town. Let’s give this place some love! One of the more deserving in this town.

We stopped for an outdoor lunch on our way out of town after a weekend visit to Hudson. Our tortas and quesadillas were delicious and I am going to be dreaming about those tamales until I return. Great service and outdoor seating was spacious and comfortable. Thank you for a wonderful lunch!
