Friends suggested this place for lunch since they are locals and enjoy eating here. The food was average but good. Maybe we are accustomed to a different flair on Mexican food in Texas. Maybe the portions were subpar for the price.

I discovered this food truck almost a month ago and I have returned 3x since then. The latest visit this past week, I ordered Bria Tacos and the consume has been oil with cilantro and onions, bland not flavorful. This would be the second time receiving oil as the consume/broth and I will not be getting that again. The first visit it was fresh, the man was so personable offered various flavors and that day, the only day the food was so flavorful and delicious. I legit drank the broth the first time. I tried various days and assumed they have been off everyone have bad days, or the original cook is off, not sure but I will take a break and give them another chance later. So, rating overall rating 3.5 stars.

Today didn’t disappoint. I had the langua and al pastor tacos. It was served with grilled onions and a serano. Didn’t notice any pineapples in the al pastor but still very delicious.

Don’t know where to go for amazing tacos? Well, have no fear! Tacos Gone Mobile is your flavor bomb destination! As soon as my first taco is gone, I want to order more (before I finish the rest of my order). The sauces are great, super fresh. The tacos are STUFFED with fresh cilantro, onions, and meat! And OMG the chips! When you want homemade chips, order these. No question. They are crispy but thick enough to scoop their fresh guacamole!!! Yum. Yum. And Yum!!!

What makes a great taco is the many items it takes to make it. Fresh veggies, fresh tortilla, you get that here, but what really matters the most with a great taco is its meat, or meat substitute if that’s your speed. The meat here is phenomenal, with its texture, flavor, and overall quality. My new favorite spot in Tampa, no second.

I’ve been coming here (near Fletcher and 15th) for years, taking all my family and friends here, because the food is great and reasonably priced. Love the horchata, too. But this time, my mother and I got a stomach virus from eating here (this is the only place where we ate out recently, we’ve eliminated all other possibilities). Almost went to the ER. Whoever is running this place, please be more careful. I really wish I didn’t have to stop coming here.
