Last week I actually just flew in from Dallas. Looked up their restaurant & called to see if they would be able to serve me. The girl who answered yes and told her I was on my way. For that I’m grateful, they were able to serve me as they were closing & cleaning up. My food was sooooo ‘ONO! And my hubby was happy with his plate too. Food was fresh and portions was a great size! I’m definitely returning whenever I’m back in Utah. Mahalo Island Grindz!!

There’s nothing bad I can say about this spot, their food tastes homemade and fresh none of that processed food taste, this food actually does taste like authentic Hawaiian food, Lexus and the other 2 cashiers have memorized my order and name within a week of me doing business with them, the environment is very friendly and the food is good 10/10 recommend, I eat here 5 days a week and I feel like that says a lot about this place.

Cooks were jamming in the back to old school Boyz II Men. I really liked their thin cuts of meat…flavorful Polynesian style. But, they were out of dam spamn.

The food was very yummy. We had the 3 meat mix plate which included teriyaki chicken, teri beef, and katsu. In addition, the lava splash was extremely tasty and worth the $10. Will be going back next time we are in the area as we are from out of town!

I was hopeful but left disappointed. No way does this place deserve a 4.6. Maybe 3.6 being generous. Having lived in Hawaii several years I judge a place on its rice and if they can not cook proper rice, how can they make anything else. My rice was not fresh and it was a bit mushy, which was a bad start. The Mac salad lacked flavor, but most do. The claim that there chicken is famous it a little over confident. It was not bad, but if you call it famous it should be something special. The food was slow to come out. One upside was the friendly girl taking orders and thanking people for coming in.
