I recently visited Mio Nonno Italian restaurant in Dallas and had a great experience. Our waitress, Tiger, provided excellent service and was very attentive to our needs. The food was delicious, although the appetizers were a bit too salty for my taste. We enjoyed the GNOCCHI, POLENTA, NONNO’S, and CHICKEN PARMIGIANA WITH Fettuccine Alfredo sauce. There were a couple of minor issues, such as a wobbly table that I fixed myself and a small AC leak at the table next to us. However, the overall ambience and service were fantastic. Attention to these small details would definitely help this place grow.

Usually restaurants in victory park are just shiny but not that great. This place has such good food! And the waiter is always so attentive. Their espresso martini is delicious as well. You can make reservations if you come when something at the AAC is going on but otherwise it’s pretty easy to get seated.

First off music was loud as hell. We get seated and we order drinks and the server didn’t even know his own drinks on the menu when I told him what I wanted. Get the calamari and it was over cooked. We ordered our entree when then again he did not know the menu and what the entrees came with. I got the paesano that would bring a tear to my Italian grandmothers eye. First time I had ever made a comment to a restaurant about a dish. That shiz was not good. Couldn’t even make a dent in it. My buddy was charged $7 extra for chicken on a dish that already came with, he felt scammed. The server was nice tho. But unfortunately a very not good experience. Good day.

So I chose the restaurant based on the online menu and literally there was less than a third of it available. I ordered a dish with a gorganzala cream sauce. I eat blue cheese all the time. The sauce was so strong it made me gag.

Stopped in for the burrata caprese salad and foccacia and was very pleased overall. Wonderful flavor for both dishes. Service was prompt and staff very friendly. Will be back!

My boyfriend and I came here for my birthday and our server Erdogan was absolutely phenomenal. While this restaurant is nice, his style of serving very much felt like he’s had experience in fine dining, and was unbelievably kind. My boyfriend is a bit of a food snob, but really fell in love with the dish our server recommended to him. Overall, great food and stellar service.

Truly great Italian food at a reasonable price!! I’d give this place five stars if they had actual physical menu’s but this location doesn’t so I can’t give it 5 stars because of that. Otherwise the food and the overall experience is absolutely fantastic and I’ll be sure to come again as the food is wonderful. Hopefully next time they’ll have physical menu’s as not everyone uses a cell phone “ie older people” I’m 23 but still. Got to consider the other folks out there.

Mio Nonno is a great option for a neighborhood Italian restaurant. It is pretty easy to get a reservation and bar seating isn’t bad if that’s the only option. The service was fantastic and the food was great, although it did lack a sense of presentation. The photos don’t do the taste justice, but some basil or pepper or plated presentation would go a long way! Good Victory Park neighborhood staple if you’re looking for a quick bite.

Came in for dinner last night around 7 pm, got seated right away. Our waitress was super nice and attentive, so was the manager on duty Egzon. He recommended our two dishes for the main course and both of them were outstanding especially the eggplant Parmesan. I’ll go back just for that dish. The meatball appetisers song with the fresh baked bread was a great dish. Thank you for having us, will come back again soon!
