The appetizers, devil eggs and the crab cake were delicious. I had a cocktail from the bar, a mojito that was very good. My entree was shrimp scampi. The shrimp were perfectly cooked and the pasta was very good. We love this place and will be back.

Came here on a recommendation from the winery across the street. Hubby had the King Cut Prime Rib, absolutely loved it..cooked perfectly! I had the seafood Mac, it was good but said it came with shrimp, scallops and crab…there was NO crab. The shrimp and scallops were huge and cooked perfect, the flavor was also very good. I would’ve thought a side salad or veggie would have come with it or some bread with our dinners but no extras for the price you pay.

Amazing food! Great service! Had the Chicken Picatta with lump crab and it was fantastic. Flounder was delicious. And of course the steak didn’t disappoint either! Crab cakes were delicious too but sauce was really salty! Overall it was a great meal!

I don’t like Brussel sprouts, but these were amazing. It’s definitely a must try. This place is definitely a highly recommended place to eat. Drinks were superb, and the King Prime Rib was fantastic.

Really good good and fantastic service. We’ve ordered off the specials menu, tuna tartare, fish and chips and the fried chicken. All delicious, not a crumb left! Also tried a couple of cocktails. The Boulevardier was out of this world, highly recommended for whisky cocktail lovers. The only downside is that it is slightly overpriced. But for the location, service and quality, not a deal breaker!

We had a wonderful dinner! I had the seafood Mac and cheese with a side salad and some baked calamari for an appetizer. My husband ordered the sea bass and honey grilled Brussel sprouts! Oh my how yummy it was! The menu is limited but the meals are delicious and one must say that they are concentrated in providing quality instead of quantity – although the portions are great as I had to take home a portion of my meal! Devon, our waitress was fantastic!

495 Chesapeake Eats is a restaurant located in downtown Rockport. The menu is definitely upscale. We enjoyed the Brussel sprouts, crab dip, and truffle fries for appetizers. I ordered the yellow fin tuna. I enjoyed the accouterment (sweet chili sauce and Wasabi) as they complimented the sushi grade tuna but found the strong smoke flavoring adverse. I asked about the strong smoke flavor and our server assured me that it was from the wood fired grill. That said, it was very over powering. The risotto was yummy.

Absolutely fantastic!We came here for our 18th anniversary. The service was amazing and ingredients were fresh! We tried the crab dip and Brussels sprouts and were amazing! Our entrees were the crab cakes and flounder which did not disappoint! This place is an absolute must when in town!

Great food with a variety of appetizers such as carmelized brussel sprouts and crab dip. Drink selection is good with plenty of options for bourbon, beers, and tequila mixed drinks. I got the wagyu beef skewer and it was a perfect medium rare to my liking. Good food and good customer service, would come back.
