Wow. What amazing food. I saw where someone said it smells like cigarette smoke, well it smells like a wood fire place, warm and inviting. The menu is small and fantastic. The prices are great and we could not eat our small meals. By small I mean the 8 oz beans and 8 oz mac and cheese and beef sandwich. I can’t wait to try the pork and potato salad. You won’t be disappointed. Took ours to go and glad I did. Easier to put my leftovers away.

An unbelievable “Diamond in the rough”…..just a regular house at the end of a block….but it’s THE BEST BARBECUE Anywhere!!! These folks know their stuff! I’ve tried the whole menu; it’s my Crew’s favorite place to eat. I’ve traveled the Country….from the deep South….all over Texas and the West….had it all….BUT THIS PLACE BEATS THEM ALL!!!

Delicious BBQ that is simple and tasty. You can tell they have perfected the meat. A Balanced amount of smoke flavor and seasoning. Tastes homemade! I’ve had the Brisket and pulled pork and each time they are consistently good. Portions are hearty and a considerable value. Thanks for the bringing some great BBQ to neighborhood

We ordered two meat plates, and they were absolutely delicious! I was pleasantly surprised to find that the ribs at this place tasted even better than any other ribs I tried at Texas. If you ever visit Ashland, it’s definitely a must-try restaurant.

The brisket is outstanding!! The outer bark is fantastic and has so much BBQ flavor you can’t ask for more. The pulled pork is moist and packed with flavor too. The BBQ sauce, for me, could use a bit more umph…it’s a bit bland. But, it certainly doesn’t take away, at all, of their BBQ meats! Their sides are a good follow up, and tasty.

I came in with my daughter to pick up some food to go for dinner and it was so good! I knew it would be too just from the smell of it in my car. My daughter and I loved everything! We had the ribs, mac n cheese and potato salad. It was done quickly! He even walked it out to my car for me, which is much appreciated since my 1 year old is squirmy. 10/10 will be going back to try the brisket even though the ribs are my absolute favorite!
