An indian fare with yummu food. The appetizers; we had pani puri, and katori chaat. The katori chaat was like a big kachoori and was so crispy, and the sauces were just right. We also took the lamb biryani to go. Mango lassi was good.

We had a wonderful evening at Banjara. The ambience and the attentive staff made our experience very enjoyable. However the star of the evening was the food. The presentation was very appealing and food tasted delicious. They have a great selection of appetizers and a unique concept called Small plates where the portion is just perfect for one person. I will definitely go back again to try the other items on the menu.

In a post-COVID19 era where many restaurants are forced to shutter or innovate, Banjara decides to open in 2022 with a new management team, throw the middle finger at COVID, and offer an Indian food buffet. We should all be thankful and join the bandwagon because there are actually fewer restaurants that provide buffet services now. I can think of nothing that better symbolizes a stronger American resurgence in the heart of suburbia then a tasty Indian buffet.

I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. My husband and I tried it on a whim tonight and we will definitely be coming back again! We got the stuffed paneer as our appetizer, we shared the goat curry and chicken tikka masala with buttered naan for dinner, and split the gulab jamun for dessert. It was incredible! Our food was SO fresh, and the chefs came out to check on us several times. Our water glasses were always full, and their gulab jamun was honestly one of the greatest desserts I’ve ever eaten and I deeply regret sharing them with my husband instead of getting my own. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough to anyone looking to have some good quality food in Ashburn.
