A MUST STOP! I know what you are thinking “Jamaican food… in Kansas?!” Yes absolutely yes! We cleaned the meat off the bones of the Curry Goat and the Jerk Chicken. Best meal I have had since leaving California 3 days ago. I met one of the owners and she was incredibly nice. The onion rings were also delicious.

Stopped in on our way home. Had the jerk chicken and brown stew chicken dinners. Both were delicious! Super friendly staff. Very clean restaurant. Definitely recommend.

Amazing service, great location, great staff, amazing owner, informative. Along with the greatest tacos I’ve ever had. The Jerk Chicken tacos. I’ll be back definitely to try more items. (Ask for it extra hot if you like it real hot). Wish Auntie Rita would open a restaurant in my hometown in NM. We have too many Mexican restaurants down there anyway. Thank you auntie next time I’m in there and I see you Rita, you Auntie for now on.

Ordered chicken curry, my husband ordered Ox Tail for his first time ever (he was scared), kids had chicken strips and our baby got the mac n cheese…. EVERY SINGLE ITEM was AMAZING!! My husband ate all his oxtail. And we both helped eat the mac n cheese, which was the best mac n cheese I’ve had anywhere! And I’ve had some really delicious mac n cheese! The chicken curry was on the bone and a sweet curry, super delicious and melted off the bone…. the cabbage was good too, like a cooked/heated coleslaw. A great experience!

Only visiting Salina for a bit. Out of 9 days here, I’ve eaten at this place twice. It is THAT good and authentic. I’ve never felt like I was given too much food from anywhere. But here…you get a lot of food.

We JUST ate here and I have to say we are all blown away. My husband says the jerk sauce is the best he has ever had. The kiddo says the chicken is a million out of ten lol. We are so happy and the food is absolutely delicious. The restaurant is clean and laid back. I would absolutely recommend coming here if you’re in town.

GREAT Jamaican food and friendly staff! Definitely recommend coming here and supporting this restaurant. Its places like this that can come and go without local support. Have only had Jamaican food this good in Jamaica. Food is flavorful and large portions!

If a restaurant wants to command over $20.00 a plate for lunch. I expect table service and actual plates. To-Go-Boxes just don’t cut it. Just because the establishment is located on Santa Fe in downtown Salina does not mean it can skimp on high quality service.
