I got 2 chicken and 2 steak tacos, lemonade. Tacos were stuffed full and tasted great! The lemonade was very sweet and refreshing. Definitely recommend trying their hot salsa. It has a good flavor. (Different from the chips/salsa)

This restaurant used to be one of my favorite places to eat in town, but in the last 6 months ive received nothing but wrong orders and rude staff. The last interaction I had with staff I was informed that if I wanted them to get my food right that I should be inspected my take out at the counter before leaving the restaurant. While I understand mistakes, I have no interest in doing your quality assurance for you literally every time I order. Im not ordering strange complicated orders, these are items as described from the menu.

Today, Tuesday, March 28, 2023, was my first time going to Tacos Calvillo. Awful. The food is completely tasteless, bland. No flavor. And they messed up my order. I ordered hard shells, and I got soft shells. Very skimpy on the chips. I will not be back.

I dont know why we waited so long to try this hidden gem. Best mexican food in danville. It all taste fresh and delicous. So far we have tried the steak, al pastor, barbaco, and carnitas. They have all been good! Its also very affordable! Salsa and guac are both flavorful and fresh.
