Good country cooking, the best pork chops and mashed potatoes I’ve ever had. The fried green tomatoes were awesome. The cod was good but a little disappointing compared to the guy across from me catfish planks, next time I know what to order. Service was great thank you all.

The second I walked into this place, it felt like home. The music,the noise, and the service are all perfect. The food is so good and I will absolutely go back on day. My mama and I got onion rings, fried tomatoes, and fried pickles. And as a huge onion ring fan, I can honestly say, I’ve never had rings these good. All are insanely good, and the sauce I got with my rings has a spicy little kick to it! The wait is worth it, trust me. I knew the second I walked in, I’d have to give it a great review. I’m extremely pleased.

Had the best meal! My husband was hesitant when I told him where we were going and that it was attached to a Marathon gas station. But this place can’t be passed by! Super sweet staff. And our waitress never let our drinks get more that 2/3 empty. Food was FANTASTIC! I have never had chicken and waffles and after today I will never sleep on this meal again. The waffle was fluffy and tender and the syrup was the best I ever had!

I drove up with a friend from Cynthiana ynthiana Kentucky to eat here today. It is a little out-of-the-way but you won’t be sorry for coming. I had the Saturday special ribeye with macaroni and cheese and mashed potatoes and gravy. It was great. Best steak I’ve ever had. Highly recommend. The interior of the restaurant could definitely use some updating but when the food is this good, you don’t care about the paint on the walls.

The food was darn right great. We had catfish, real mashed potatoes, fried pickles, onion rings and a plethora of other good stuff. The service was amazing. Before we left,we knew all the people in the restaurant, customers and workers. It was a truly American experience.

Eat here and you will want to come back every night. Chicken livers were excellent! The steak was cooked perfectly and was giant. My husband said it was delicious. Honestly people, you need to try the food here. You won’t leave hungry. The staff was so nice and very attentive also.

First time eating here. Super busy on a Sunday afternoon. Short wait for a table. Good service for as busy as it was. Fried chicken was fantastic. None of us cared for the Mac n cheese. Very good size portions for the money.
