It was my first time going to Pryor’s Pizza. I was passing through and like trying local pizza places. I picked this one because it has been around since the 1960s. The atmosphere is dated but clean, service was quick and pleasant. Now on to the most important part, the pizza. I ordered a large cheese, I feel if a pizza place can make a good cheese pizza they can do anything well. The pizza came quickly and looked very good. My first impression was that the cheese and sauce were very nice. I would have liked the crust to be cooked for a few more minutes. It was a little on the soggy side. Not enough to ruin the pizza but a crispy crust for me is what I like.

Very much the old home town pizza place, like I remember from my youth in the 60s and 70s.

My family has traveled to Rolla at least 3 to 4 times a year. We always have to stop in at Pryor’s. It is the best pizza you’ll ever eat.

This place could possibly have the very best pizza in the world. Every time we are in Rolla, Pryors is our goto pizza place. Their thin crust is positively decadent, and every pizza is made with the freshest of ingredients; making this a truly hometown experience.

A quant little place with a real pizza oven. Not your assembly line premade crust franchise store. The folks are great, they really care about what they do and their customers. You won’t be disappointed.

You definitely go here for the PIZZA, IT’S AMAZING. Thin crust with a ton of toppings. I can’t wait to drive through the area again. I wish I lived closer.

Eating at Pryor’s today made me a little nostalgic. Pryor’s is the second oldest restaurant in Rolla. Maid Rite being the oldest. I have had friends work there over the years and have watched local sporting teams that they have sponsored. And ads that they have taken out have helped to support the Rollamo, the Growler, the Echo, the Miner and other local publications. While Rolla currently has several other Pizza places, none has been part of the Rolla community for as long as Pryor’s. Pryor’s also has a unique style of pizza. The crust of their pizzas appears to be the thinnest of all the pizzas in Rolla and all of Phelps County.
