Still the best Chinese spot around for take out. Food with actual flavor. If you want SPICY say you want it “VERY SPICY”. You also have the option to add additional meat to most dishes for $2-$5 depending on how much you want added.

Chicken fried rice looked like white rice with chicken. No flavor at all. Not much chicken. Beef pepper steak wasn’t too bad. Shrimp in garlic sauce was not spicy. Shrimp were soggy. Boneless ribs were fragments of pieces and too little for the cost. ALL DISHES WERE OVERLY SWEET.

Best Chinese in zhills, y’all! More affordable and tastier than the others we’ve tried since moving to town! The fried rice was fried rice, NOT yellow, the wonton soup had 5 large wontons, and the beef and broccoli was perfect! Grateful to have found this place, I’ll be going back. Thank you!

Occasionally I stop by China Star because they have a fair priced lunch special. However I ordered crab rangoons for the first time and I was extremely disappointed almost no filling inside, just a crispy husk of what a crab rangoon is supposed to be. Anything else I’ve ordered here has been ordinary but I will never order a crab Rangoon here again.
