Good fun atmosphere. The person at the counter seemed less than happy to be there, the guy who bought the pizza was in a much better mood.

I have trucked all over this Country searching for the best pizza. I was delighted to find it in my home city. You just can’t beat the flavor of the Black Lagoon pizza! I learned about this joint by watching a movie “Asteroid City” at Sun Ray theater. Pizza Cave will be a weekly visit for me now.

The service is always top notice. The atmosphere? I mean, come on. You feel like you’re out of this world. The food from the pizza. To the dogs and even the popcorn it’s all so good. They have amazing vegan options as well.

It was okay. It is a cool place to eat pizza in. The colors and the cave vibe was definitely different and cool. The service was good. Had a mistake but it was fixed immediately. They didn’t have bottled water or tea when we went. They give you little cups for the kids. They don’t have lids. So, if you have little ones that need lids bring your own. They do have kids meals. They have vegan friendly options. We got the cheese pizza and the pizza with mushrooms and pepperoni. The pizza was good. The kids loved it. My husband and I got the Ceasars salad with chicken. You can get it with or without chicken. It came with onions and yes you are able to order it without onions. Overall it was a cool experience. It is a clean establishment. Even the bathroom was clean. I would recommend to anyone including families who want to try something that many love (pizza) in a non traditional environment.

The ambiance of this place is amazing. Just like you were in a cave. Great physical decorations, like lamps with crystals on them and walls that looked like the inside of a cave. The food was decent. I got the mile high nachos. They used cheap cheese, but the nachos were tasty. Big enough for two. Pizza could be bought for $2 a slice during happy hour and the slices were big, but I never got a chance to try it so I’m not sure how good it is. I only have one complaint – the food took a long time to get. There wasn’t anyone ahead of me and it took 15-20 minutes to get my nachos, which perhaps isn’t that long. Overall, definitely a spot I will return to. Next time, I’ll be trying their pizzas

The food is awesome and a good portion of the menu you can get vegan! The woman at the front of the house is super helpful and sweet. I’ll be going to Pizza Cave whenever I’m in jax. 10 out 10 would recommend.

Couldn’t rate the food because my family walked in and was looked at like we were bothering the associates. We stood in the restaurant lost on what to do for 5 minutes before I asked what was the process to dine in. The worker said oh the menu is on the wall, just order and let us know. We looked at the menu and was so disgusted at the terrible customer service that we decided that we didn’t want to eat at the establishment. Pizza Cave, if you want good customers willing to pay for your food, please at least acknowledge and be friendly when customers come in and don’t act like they are bothering you!!!!

This is long overdue, because I’m a procrastinator and every single time it’s “I will review them next time” then next time never comes. So, to the public, this establishment and the people running it, I apologize. That being said, here we go….

It took a great deal of effort to make The Cave what it is. It seems to be darker than other restaurants, but I think that’s due to the fake cave you walk into when you enter. It does feel like you’ve been taken out of Jax and put somewhere where subterranean pizza places are the norm. I didn’t get a good shot of the room, but I did of their table side diorama! Such a neat detail!
