The staff were very friendly and courteous, even though they were busy the staff were very meticulous. The restaurant was warm and inviting and to my liking the coffee was hot and strong. Unfortunately, probably the worst cuisine experience I’ve had in Pontiac Illinois so far, I don’t want to automatically give the restaurant a bad label, might have been bad timing maybe short staffed in the kitchen. The chicken and dumpling soup was very very good, the choice of Hospital vegetables was very uninviting, the piece of fish I ordered was like fish jerky. A member of my table ordered a steak it looked like a slice of roast beef. I will definitely give this restaurant another try but Madison Street will have to be by invite only, not going by choice.

I am from TX – their chips and salsa were on the house and ON TOP OF THE WORLD.. Amazing taste to the salsa.. better than MOST in the country, including TX. I got the fajitas, and it was tasty and tender.. this was an amazing experience ❤

This family restaurant has a variety of both American and TexMex food. I got the TexMex, and it was surprisingly good! The chicken burrito with queso on top was delicious and flavorful. I was also happy to learn that this place has a full bar, and so I enjoyed the strawberry margarita. This place is a casual restaurant and there’s a nice outdoor section too for when the weather is nice!

I had the steak fajitas and they were perfection. With other Mexican restaurants in competition here, I honestly liked these better. Super friendly staff, with great recommendations! Best part- the margaritas were delish. Not too sweet. 10/10 would come back.

I ordered eggs Florentine and got eggs Benedict. I also asked for a pancake instead of toast and they did not send a pancake they sent toast. I guess I fail to see what is so hard about this process. They wrote eggs Florentine on the container that had a skillet in it and wrote nothing on the container that had eggs Benedict in it.
