Got a late lunch here. The dishes were a hit or miss. The salt and pepper pork chops were delicious. Nicely fried and well seasoned. Was not a fan of the deep-fried then stirfried pork intestines. It was extremely salty and the intestines were very fatty. The spicy szechuan fish dish was not very good. The fish had a pasty cardboars taste to it. The cumin lamb was well done. pea shoots were nice and fresh and very good as well. Overall a very decent experience. Not too many authentic Chinese restaurants left in charlotte anymore. This is one of the best left.

Lee Cafe offers primarily Szechuan style Chinese food with some Cantonese and even sushi mixed in. Usually I avoid places that double dip cuisines. Offering everything = master of nothing. That said, the Szechuan part of the menu at Lee is solid.

Best Chinese restaurant in Charlotte / fort mill area! Highly recommend ordering multiple entrees sharing them (family style) versus individual dishes, so you can taste all the deliciousness of Lee Cafe. We were 3 people total.

If you want and have the taste for authentic Chinese cuisine the Le Cafe is a must. Lee Cafe is a staple food in our home as well. The selection is excellent. We had Spicy Chili Chicken, Szechwan wontons twice, Spicy Chili Beef, Mongolian Beef, Hot and Sour soup, Spicy cumin Chicken, egg fried rice, white rice. Everything is so moist, tender and delicious.

The lunch special was exceptionally affordable. Every dishes ordered was banging with flavors especially the sushi. Surprisingly, it’s better than most high end restaurants. Honestly, the place is a secret gem for Chinese food.

I ordered the Singapore Rice noodle (minus proteins except shrimp and eggs) and Salt & Spicy Shrimp. They were both perfect, as usual. Great updates to the online experience, through their website, with Lee Cafe. It still needs more work, but much much better ordering experience through navigation and appearance. I hope that you grow and keep serving fabulous food. Thank you.

Our first time trying Lee Cafe and it was very well prepared. The rice was more like a sticky rice and very delicious. The Sesame Chicken good, Seaweed Salad, tasty, California Roll good, Spring Roll good, just a bit greasy. Dumplings streamed and fried, well prepared. Egg Drop Soup, good. Food was not overly salted. Will order take out from here again. Impressed. See photos.

Really good food and great service. It was packed when we got there so we had to wait around 20 mins for a table but it was worth the wait! We had the egg rolls and fried dumplings for an appetizer. Though the egg rolls were smaller than we expected, they were very good. We had the vegetable lo mein and the spicy shredded garlic pork. Both were delicious and plenty to take home for lunch tomorrow.

Lee cafe used to be one of my favorite authentic Chinese restaurants. However I was quite disappointed this time. I ordered the spicy fish, tofu with bok choy and spicy fried pork intestines. The pork intestines was really salty. The fish had no flavor. The tofu was just ok.We spent total 70 dollars for lunch… I will not come back anymore.

This is my new favorite local Chinese restaurant in South Charlotte. (Fort Mill, really) They serve authentic Sichuan Chinese cuisine with the proper málà spice levels and flavor along with a nice Cantonese selection and the more classic Chinese-American options along with a sushi bar. The phone number never seemed to work so don’t bother trying to make reservations, but judging by the crowd on a Saturday night, expect to wait for a table if you show up after 7:30pm.
