When we came in to the restaurant, there was no one around. There was a sign that said wait to be seated, so we waited. About 10 minutes later a lady came out from the back and said you can just sit anywhere. We sat down and ordered, I had the lasagna and meatballs and my wife had the penne pasta. Did not take long to get our food but when I took my first bite the lasagna was lukewarm and my meatball was cold. My wife’s pasta was over cooked. I let them know about my food temperature and they heated it up and offered us a free dessert to make up for the mistake. All in all it was not a very good experience. Maybe one day we will try it again.

We were out shopping and saw the sign so we decided to pop in for coffee and desert. The vibe was totally inviting and friendly! Everyone was very friendly and laid back. We decided that we were hungry after all and ordered several things off the menu. All of our food was absolutely delicious! They even brought out bread and homemade marinara for us to try. Everything was fantastic and we even ordered food and dessert to take home. The owner was great and our service was remarkable. I highly recommend!

The pizza was delicious, while you’re there go ahead and order dessert. The cannoli is wonderful. The service is fantastic, they are friendly and it’s just a great place to eat.

Hands down the best Italian food my wife and I have ever had. The staff was made up of family and treated us extremely well. They brought our daughter complimentary dessert and checked in on us frequently. Some of the nicest folks we’ve ever met and definitely the best Italian food we’ve ever experienced. We will be frequent visitor of this amazing local and family owned business.

I stopped in with my daughter for a quick sandwich right at noon today. It wasn’t busy, but it was really cold in the restaurant so I got a cup of broccoli cheese soup which was really good. It took about 30 minutes for our two sandwiches and fries to come out. My daughter got a ham and cheese melt which she said was good. I got the boo Philly cheesesteak deluxe…it had way too much cheese on it. I love cheese but this was too much. I couldn’t taste the meat and it got all stuck in my mouth. The waitress asked if everything was ok I told her it was ok and said it was just too much cheese. So we paid $36 for one child and 1 adult for a meal I didn’t eat. I really wanted to like this place but unfortunately I left frustrated.

If you are ever in Mt. Airy, you MUST stop in Boo’s Kitchen. The first thing my friend said when we walked in was “How adorable!” The owner, Ernie, treated us like family and spent time talking with us. Everyone there was so friendly and accommodating. Now, to the food!!! It was incredible! If you want great, authentic Italian food, Boo’s Kitchen is the place to go. They even gave us free rice balls! We were still talking about how delicious it was long after we left the restaurant. I plan on going back before we leave Mt. Airy and I can’t wait!

Inside was clean and bright (but a bit cold with the ceiling fans on high). Staff was friendly. Food was OK but IMO very overpriced for what you receive. I posted a photo of the tuna sandwich I ordered, it cost $7.50. No sides except a pickle. I would seek more affordable/superior food options if you’re in the area.

Our first visit yesterday was awesome! Pops greeted us when we walked in , he came over to our table and the told the history of how the place came to be. He explained all the menu items and told us if we ordered pasta it would take 15 minutes as he cooks it fresh as ordered! Delicious food, kind folks, try then out next time you are in Mount Airy!
