I went there because Bill Oakley spoke highly of it. Walked in found the joint barricaded. Nobody told them the pandemic is over. No seating at all. It’s become a takeout place. I removed it from my list. Check out me profile for actual great eateries and cocktail bars.

This is my second time visiting, and both times I wasn’t sure it was even open – no people, no staff visible. The door was open, so we walked in and called out, and we were promptly greeted. As we stood in the oppressively bright and sterile light, we were informed that they were only doing whole pies… for take out. All around weird since they are open late in a bustling part of town. Ok. The pizza itself was confusing. The crust was a 10 which is the hallmark of any reputable pizza joint BUT the sauce and toppings couldn’t be more bland. If there was sauce, I didn’t taste it: and how to you turn onions flavorless? It’s mystifying, like they engineered it to be flavorless. I don’t know what else to say.

was lucky enough to get one of the promotional pizzas advertised on their instagram… and i’m glad i did! very generous offer ! i felt like i won a prize! the ordering process and website was simple and efficient. pickup was smooth and timely. got a couple views of the inside through the pickup window, the place looks great, i hope we get to enjoy the dining room soon! so about the pizza, it was hearty, plenty of cheese and toppings and sauce and the crust was a great balance of chewy and crunchy on the edges. gotta love those corner pieces! overall very tasty and very filling. definitely on my short list for quality pizza in the neighborhood. thanks pop pizza!

Honestly, some of the best pizza we’ve ever had. The crust was sufficiently juicy and crunchy and the sauce on top really sealed the deal. We just wanted a little spice! Like some spicy marinara or something. However, we did order the late night pizza so there were limited options.
