This is the BEST ice cream I have ever had!!!! I First came here back in 2010 when I came to Thompson Falls to visit my in laws. I recently just got back from a one year tour in korea and this was my first stop. I have literally been waiting years to get more of Debs huckleberry and cream cheese ice cream. Also makes the BEST paninis on the planet. I will be sad once this AMAZING place closes down. 24 years and still going strong. There is no other ice cream place like Little Bear in the United States that I have ever been too.

The ice cream mixes are outstanding. You can personalize it. Great place with beautiful and interesting art work and books, but Deb the proprietor is what makes the place so special. She comes around the counter every time to greet us with hugs and a huge smile. It’s worth the wait!

Made to order specialty ice creams!! Owner is friendly and welcoming! Sign says “We are not fast food. Please be patient!”; it appears the the owner is cook, waitress and cashier so be nice and allow yourself to relax and enjoy the slower pace that is Thompson Falls! The interior is charming with lots to look at and ice cream makes everyone friendly.Enjoy!

She makes the most wonderful soups, chili, sandwiches. Her ice creams are amazing. The food portions are large enough to share a sandwich:) Deb is an amazing cook and person. But you can not be in a hurry when you come here. It takes time to make food this good.

Little Bear has the magic sauce! Deb, the owner, is a beautiful person that truly knows hospitality. I got her daily homemade broccoli soup and 1/2 a turkey sandwich(sandwiches are HUGE). Both were delicious and very filling. Definitely try the ice cream and ask about the history of her ice cream maker.
