Went in for one of their awesome burgers, but saw Shrimp on the menu and decided to give it a try. They were way better than I anticipated. Fried just right, seasoned well, and the tarter sauce was really delicious. The only thing I wasn’t too amazed with was the coleslaw. It tasted like it was missing that coleslaw tanginess, almost like it was made with just mayo, cabbage, and pepper, and none of the key ingredients you would usually use for slaw. The shrimp and service were enough to keep a smile on my face, and departing with a full belly. Definitely recommend for a quick bite, especially if you can stop in at a time they are doing their buffet. 🙂

Was really a nice place to eat. It’s just a gas station / convenience store but in the back they have some tables and chairs and the best seafood bar I’ve probably seen even better than Red lobster! All-you-can-eat $23,99 + drink.

Big Ma’s has some good cooks in their kitchen and the food here is always first rate. They offer hand-churned ice cream, too, which is one of the many attractions of this buffet-style, old-fashioned restaurant. The premises are a different story and are dated with mismatched tables and chairs and old equipment. are mismatched. The bathrooms could use some work, too. Some would find this nostalgic and be attracted to it, but I would have like to have seen the premises a bit cleaner and updated (I have this fear that if the restaurant in full view of the customers is not spotless then the kitchen that is hidden from view may be worse.)
